Because the card droplet was negating was going to be used for a link summon anyways, so he wanted to protect the cards he'd summon from flamberge after the summon and he knew he was gonna use opponent's fenrir as material for goddess leaving no cards on the opponents field and didn't want imperm to be used from hand.

Game 3 Min 16:45 the Fire King player cheated… he destroyed Garunix in his hand by Kirins effect and summoned him right back from the grave… he should not be able to do that

You are able to do that bc it was either in the hand or grave when something was destroyed

No, the case is that you‘re not able to destroy Garunix and summon himself right back. You cannot activate a trigger effect in the graveyard if the card was not there when the trigger happened. You can activate an “if” trigger effect in the hand as long as the trigger was met in the previous chain/event (with exceptions) Garunix is not in the graveyard when it is destroyed on the field/in the hand so it cannot trigger.

love this list! interesting to exclude time-tearing morganite. for traptrix its a solid 3 of that turns a lot of hands into full combo with +3 resources or more, with the downside that ash and veiler are dead. Hope we see prosperity in the next one 😂👍
