Game 3 Min 16:45 the Fire King player cheated… he destroyed Garunix in his hand by Kirins effect and summoned him right back from the grave… he should not be able to do that

You are able to do that bc it was either in the hand or grave when something was destroyed

No, the case is that you‘re not able to destroy Garunix and summon himself right back. You cannot activate a trigger effect in the graveyard if the card was not there when the trigger happened. You can activate an “if” trigger effect in the hand as long as the trigger was met in the previous chain/event (with exceptions) Garunix is not in the graveyard when it is destroyed on the field/in the hand so it cannot trigger.
