Consoles will always have a place in the gaming world for their user friendly, plug in and plah, nature. Someone can know absolutely nothing about tech, get a console, plug it in, and play. Also lets say you need to go out of town for a week or more and will be in a hotel, like training for a new job or something. Its mucb easier to take a console with you than a desktop and most gaming laptops are either trash or significantly more expensive than a console. 😊

Tbf if you think about the fact that 30 years ago they charged 50 bucks for super Mario world which had a way smaller team. I really wouldn’t think it’s crazy to pay 90+ for the base game of a baldurs gate, etc, if it’s a quality game with a large team.

I don't get why pc players think the ps5 pro being marginally better is a reason to get a pc. If anything people buying lower end hardware or keeping their current systems seems more likely. If graphical jumps are getting weaker why bother with pcs?

This is what happens when there’s no competition on the console market. Sony can do and charge whatever they want and nobody can stop them because they know people won’t turn to Xbox.

If you're an adult and want something more enjoyable with a rich gameplay and charismatic characters in a dark story with stylish aesthetics, Fallen Aces is a million times more interesting, and for me, it is THE game of the year, even in early access. Also, I'm not into Wukong, but I bet that the millions of people who enjoy it will disagree with you about Astro Bot. And in fact, for many, it is the pinnacle of 2024 gaming.

I don’t understand why of all the screenshots you can pick to make the ps5 pro look bad you pick the one where resolution, mesh quality and the glass is way better. If i was playing this on a 4k tv or 1440 monitor I’d definitely be sold on a ps5 pro. There are way worse screenshots than this

The pc gpu market has been a hot mess since COVID and although cpu prices have dropped your still paying £/€1000 plus for a rtx 4080 in Europe and £/€2000 for a rtx4090. Compared to those prices a ps5 pro looks cheap 😅

This is one of the best games I've ever played in my life. I can't believe how many mechanics they were able to fit in one game. Most game engines are only built for one kind kind of gameplay, This has dozens😅. Every inch of the game has personality and creativity. The soundtrack is a banger. The controller lets you feel every sensation, and the nostalgia is perfectly done. It has more heart and soul than anything Nintendo was put out in years. Definitely a Must Play exceptional game

CONSOLES are detrimental to gaming and have been since 2010 onwards. It's not the era of SNES or PS1 anymore. The fact that devs have to constantly create software for systems with SUCH WEAK HARDWARE - means that ALL gamers get are shit experiences.

I should just buy a used car atp. I’m sure I’d be a better investment of 700 ish dollars. But really, I feel (either knowingly or not) that its kinda like a test drive, see if people will buy it or not. Maybe, if it goes well, people’ll just buy whatever’s put out to them.
