Wow, you taught me nothing. This video is just you playing the beats and not explaining anything or at a bare minimum , playing slow to really zoom in on what's happening.

The whole time im listening to your style… heavily punk inspired grooves and behind them all I can hear John Bonham… his playing style obviously had a huge impact on your sound

Been a while since I’ve been on your channel… you were always someone that I thought was an amazing drummer… being away from your channel for over a year now I see all of the new content and how much you have grown as a drummer… keep the plywood trailer practice space… it is the one constant that shows off your drumming prowess and improvement…(if that makes sense) I haven’t sat down at my drum kit in months… but you have inspired me… you really do show crazy depth to your drumming since I last was on your channel…keep that up and it will never fail you… I did the same thing in my professional life and went on to create some very beautiful houses that I built… never stop!

Love your videos man always learning new beats! Were the tempos on the first beat mislabeled on accident? For example when I play it at 150 bpm it sounds like the clip labeled 120 bpm in the video. Am I missing something?
@Tyrannosaurine26 күн бұрын
Holy shit, that was sick. I play/have played in heavy bands for years, and probably have closer to 1000 shows under my belt than I would like to admit. I’ve reached the point where I really only listen to a small handful of heavy bands anymore because the genre of music (like most heavy stuff) can be very derivative and I just got tired of it. If we played with 3 other bands, 2 would sound like a shitty recording of a bunch of Black Sabbath outtakes from their worst record and the 3rd would sound like a worse version of Molly Hatchet or something. It’s awesome to see when a band obviously puts work into their playing and not into programming backing tracks and co-ordinating stage moves for the photographer they hired rather than practicing.

Can anyone tell what cymbal he’s using? Specifically the one where he’s hitting the bell. Is it just a normal dark ride cymbal?
