This kit is tuned pretty middle of the road tension. I like the older minor threat drums a lot cause its mostly toms and kick with no reso heads that makes them have more attack than sustain. Kinda like the Beatles or The Police drum sound. But there’s plenty of bands like this that play super cranked tight drums and it sounds sick. Basically do whatever you think sounds cool 😎
