Onbegrijpelijk dat we de muzikanten niet kunnen zien spelen, zet er dan bij 'audio recording', maar doe niet alsof het een video is; de beelden die er zijn bij geplakt zijn ook nog eens heel storend. Doe dan één enkele foto die verder niet meer beweegt, nu lijkt het op een video en het duurt even voordat je doorkrijgt dat we niets te zien krijgen ...vreselijk. Ik kon niet meer genieten van de muziek en ik heb een plaat op gezet. Daar zit ook geen beeld bij maar dat wist ik toen ik ze opzette,

Every classical music video featuring a man instead of a woman as an “alto” immediately earns a thumbs down from me….they sound so UGLY, and I can’t believe people who know this music wants to hear that abomination. If the groups are thinking they’re “purist,” then kick all of the women out and employ boys….it’s not at all historically correct if women sing.

Cipriano de Rore... another unknown renaissance composer for the general public. It's said that was an influent composer in remarkable composer such as Orlando di Lasso, Palestrina, Monteverdi. And a master of madrigal. We are a privileged for know this hidden musical gems. Thank you!

Are were talking about an English composer of a Scottish composer.. i want aware that the "r" was pronounced at all!.. it would also seem that American English was spoken in English before the 19th century.. so maybe they had an "r"... I'm quite versed with music of the 10th -20th century .. we even had concerts of the mid 16th century at home. Follie Olandesi

@@seanmarshall7529 Did you know that most English music is just stolen from abroad mainly Italy? I guess you don't have a clue. They cleverly embedded it as 'the English' tradition but most baroque composers were imported from Italy and Germany (Geminiani, Händel etc.) The BBC can tell you every day that the English have the best and greatest composers but in the EU we see this quite differently.

Yes the acoustics of Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam is terribly good . Consider there can go 2100 visitors to a concert there. The place is not intended for chamber music. I always stay home and give my ticket to my neighbour when I caught a cold but unfortunately not everyone :-(

Un concierto maravilloso por su contenido y sus intérpretes. Jordi Savall no necesita presentación, es el maestro, y Xavier Díaz Latorre, desde mi punto de vista, el laudista actual con mejor toque, gusto y visión de las obras que interpreta, ya sean españolas, francesas o alemanas. Su maestro Hopkinson Smith, debe estar muy satisfecho de su alumno.
