I followed this and now all of my plants are covered in mites. I have no idea what happened. I poured in very similar amount of dawn and alcohol. The next day I noticed my plants struggling and thought 'oh! I think I just went ham on the spray' :( Nope! I spread them and super charged them. So thanks for that. I reached out to her on Instagram where she didn't respond. I asked her if I had messed up or went too much on the alcohol. If anyone actually knows how to get rid of spidermites let me know because this person doesn't know. She should take down this video so that other people don't destroy their plants. Thanks for nothing.

Great video... BUT I would suggest that you brush in the opposite direction your doing since your brushing them ONTO the leaf from the most concentrated spot to the least... I feel you should be going tip of leaf to STEM, that way you minimize the spread. Just an opinion.

I brought a Halloween pumpkin into my house not knowing it was covered in spider mites, and I set it right in front of my large Cat Palm. They quickly found their way onto it before I realized where the source was and I've been battling these little bastards since September and probably for the rest of my life. 😫 I'll have to try this method next.

Great video - got rid of my spider mites super quick and I applied the treatment on the rest of my plants for safe measure. Two days on and I’ve noticed two of my plants don’t look very happy, the leaves look sad and floppy. Could this be from too much rubbing alcohol in the mixture? I tried to brush the leaves carefully but I might have been too rough. Any advice is appreciated!

I live in the suburbs of Michigan and I can tell you the law here but it might not be the same there. But here the nice side faces your neighbor and the skeleton side faces you. You also have to build it so far off the property line so that technically gives you room to build it.
