I just bought a 2012 last night and today this part burst. It’s the cheap plastic. My 16 yo son found out the name and we went to buy stock part but they are now stainless metal. Thanks to videos like yours, we are fixing it. It was a heartbreaking moment for a bit.

Nice build. May I suggest placing the eyebolts for the chain on the side skids and not the front and rear. Reason is if when pulling it with machinery and it hits snag there will be much less stress on the framework. Right now the screws that hold the front and rear skid on are bearing the tension when pulled. This may not be a problem if moving by hand or moving with a machine on flat ground.

Oh I love your fur baby (your dog) he is so gosh darn cute. Ok I need some advice. The end of last year I was taking over for a family member to take care of his goats. I had 4 had to put one of the babies down because daddy head butted him and shattered his femur bone and then I got rid of the day for to much roughness. Well I had nanny goat and 1 of her kids who is a year old. These babies hadn’t been cared for very well, so I got everyone dewormed. We found out the boy kid was full of parasites and I knew I had to do something. Every one was doing great and I only have the girls now. Momma was supposed to have been pregnant and she was past her due date so I figured well she ain’t pregnant. April 20th 2024 my nanny goat gave birth to triplets. I just love them to pieces. Well a month and a half passed by and the nanny goats older baby (1 1/2yrs old) just blew up outta no where and she’s never been pregnant, she put on weight and her teats dropped and got bigger, I just thought I was doing a good job with her, after all when I started caring for them was skin and bones and her tail was matted in poop. I have never seen a goats be pregnant all the way through and I have no idea if she is pregnant or just getting really healthy. 1 she put on weight 2 her teats have gotten bigger 3. She eats a lot 4 and like you said with yours she wasn’t a people person and right now she is on my heels every step I take. She’s become needy and wants a lot of attention. I’m not sure if you could help me, I can send you pictures if you would like to see what she looks like. I’m pretty sure she is but I’m never right lol. I hope you can help me, I’m new at this and learning as I go. TIA Sarah

You're welcome! Sorry it is different instructions from on the pump you use. Ours was direct wired so we just connected the three wires where the old pump was after cleaning up the connections a bit. The instructions that come with your pump should have some good info.

@@SixthDayRanch thanks for the reply, yes come with instructions but I'm concerned I don't connect properly, also it's quite powerful one because I need to be pumped quite far away, I'm avoiding contracting a electrician because it's expensive but maybe I don't have another choice 😞

Very good observation. These can get hot during the hottest months of the year. The animals are smart enough not to hang out inside when this happens and prefer a nice cool wallow or shade under a tree.

Just installed my GC opener this week replacing a Weak Mule brand. Unimpressed with the range of the new GC remote, at about 50 ft or less. So I did the antenna mod. Works great now! I installed the coax jumper into a 2 ft piece of pipe and clamped to the gate post so it's about 6ft to bottom of the antenna.

As a man of God, I hate to be the devil’s advocate, but personally I’d be concerned with the chemicals in the cardboard possibly leaching into my food. 🤷
@SixthDayRanch
@SixthDayRanch 2 ай бұрын
That's a great point brother and something that should be considered. From what I've researched cardboard by itself is safe but some folks have concerns about glue and stuff from recycled boxed. One of the reasons we bought basic cardboard rolls from Amazon without all that.

I keep a 5 gallon bucket near the kitchen and all banana peels and egg shells go into it ~ when it's a lovely, semi-stinky sludge it is used to fertilize the garden -> just layer it at base of plants (not touching) with a garden trowel and viola !!

I'm not a fan of propane ,l had a bad experience with a camp stove years ago,l don't know why l didn't think of kerosene heaters In case of a winter power outage or grid down situation. We used to have them many years ago when they first came out and were a thing,Kero Sun heaters, we had electric heat and used one to add some extra warmth to the den,as l was cold natured. We got away from that in a couple of years after moving and l forgot they even existed!! Now lm going to get some to have as a back up for my electric heat,for winter outages,and cooking on top is a bonus too as my stove is electric. Thanks for the video,lm more familiar with kerosene heaters and l am comfortable with using them with a little ventilation and carbon monoxide detectors. I am terrified of a propane explosion. I was thinking about those Mr Heater,Big Buddy, but kerosene is safer ,l think.
