I love Dr. Cobb! He compassionately brings philosophical knowledge to those of us who may find reading the original books quite challenging. I had the good fortune to hear him in person when he was speaking about environmental issues.

This is an invitation to see a theory where light is a wave with particle characteristics as a probabilistic future unfolds with with each photon electron interaction. Light photon energy is continuously converting potential energy into the kinetic energy of matter in the form of electrons. Kinetic energy is the energy of motion, a process!

Biden certainly did by funding Iran by taxpayer dollars!
@JA517115 ай бұрын
Wow so you completely ignore how the Biden Administration completely abandoned Afghanistan and all that weaponry empowered the Taliban and billions of dollars to Iran causing Hamas to become empowered to attack Israel but you blame the previous presidential Administration and you feed that chain of discord instead of being truthful and factual proving that there was not a single War during the Trump Administration and that all of this discord is happening through this current Administration and it's failed policies

You fail to when you analyze Donald Trump and the middle east that Iran was funding terrorist groups like Hamas which took over Gaza and there were not any wars during that Trump Administration

There are Holocaust survivors that now live in America and I know one who is the son of Holocaust survivors and would definitely say that the government in isreal is not right winged especially because its disarmed its own people to less than 3% up until October 7th when they were able to be attacked because of it.
@JA517115 ай бұрын
It has been proven that Hamas has been in control of the government and in control of Palestine so you completely missed that
@JA517115 ай бұрын
Yes at your conclusion you completely explain that Israel did try to empower the people of Gaza by giving them millions of dollars but instead of defending that money and using it morally and ethically it went to terrorist Hamas

Very well explanation of how populations are being manipulated and controlled and creating chaos to prevent a resolution.

There are archaeological digs being done by Christians as well to point historical references in biblical references to protect Christianity
@JA517115 ай бұрын
the current government in isreal that disarmed their people to be less than 3% armed can't be far right because they would have protected their right to self-defense and they would not have been so easily attacked on October 7th

The tribes were nomadic so they all nomadically roamed the region and as resources became scarce and as resources become controlled by population exponential population growth and other factors than people decide to settle down so that they can create their own crops and have their own farm animals to survive and thrive and we are also seeing that resources are getting scarce and that is why populations are fighting. It is not just religious conflicts but is also the stress on the environment with exponential population growth and resources becoming scarce. None of this is to excuse the terrible psychopaths that are warmongering and that want to control and destroy peaceful groups

Yes and it is apparent that as they erase each other they're also erasing Christian history and historical structures
@JA517115 ай бұрын
It is an absolute shame of all the historic structures that have been destroyed over decades of discord.

What kind of infrastructure was in that region before Jews started to develop a social structure and civilization because I don't think there were any hospitals or infrastructure before Jewish people started to build and assist the region

Then if it wasn't Democratic why did Israel allow the temple mount to be taken over by Muslims who could pray all the time and Christians to hardly have access to it and Jews only have 4 hours of prayer time daily? Why would Israel give millions of dollars to them if it wasn't Democratic put him to have Independence and to succeed?
@JA517115 ай бұрын
The tribal people of the region included the Israelites and the Israelites went way back in the region they just wanted to have access to their tribal land as well didn't they? These tribal people are currently forgetting the elders and what was taught to everybody and denying the importance of the New testament. Israel did send millions of dollars to Gaza for Gaza to flourish and instead of taking that it was used to fund terrorism and make the attacks against Israel stronger. Yes it is a chain of discord
@JA517115 ай бұрын
Israel gave millions of dollars to Gaza which unfortunately went into the hands of the war machine terrorist organization Hamas. Isn't it the lack of a Christian foundation in Gaza that prevented Gaza from becoming a flourishing Nation with the millions of dollars it was given?

Happy Birthday to Dr. Cobb! It is sad to see all of the greatest thinkers, and those of the greatest generations are all running out of time. Soon we will be left in this world with little wisdom left. The last maiden is about out of oil.

I really appreciate getting to hear Dr. Cobb's thoughts, especially on the afterlife, and process theology. I recently realized that the point of view that I have had is Process Theology, without having heard of process theology. It was a chaplain who lead me to look at Process Theology and thinkers like Paul Tillerson and John Cobb. My mother started out very traditional, and after looking at history, and the bible, she gradually came to the conclusion that God was more a principle and a force that nudges and pushes guides everything onto the straight and narrow path towards life truth mercy and freedom. Generally there is nothing evil or deceptive in God, and that there were revisions and tweaking that took place by the Church and that there were really two different lines of thought in the bible. She thought of Jesus (probably a different name) as a son of God, rather than as being God. She had never heard of Process Theology, but after 40 years of looking at the bible she gradually came to conclusions that resonate very closely with Process Theology. I suspect that she was right on target. Those views have shaped my views greatly. Getting to talk to a few people that had a background in Process Theology made it make a lot more sense in that context.
