Standard poodles are absolutely gorgeous. I had a white darling who always got glances and she just had the short hair cut, nothing fancy. They just walk with style, don’t they? She did not abide hot weather well. They are the second most intelligent dog next to a herding breed, and make great companions. As with all breeds, read what their needs are to see if you can supply them. Exercise is important, walks twice a day, and not left alone. Those show cuts are $$$. Unless you learn to do it yourself! Ha. Not sure if anyone has large dog in a van living experience to share? Maybe they would need to have more room to move around in? Not a couch potato type dog. I lived in my minivan for a few years. I know all the feelings but reading, taking vocal lessons, learning guitar, even working at a pizza franchise helped me keep sane.
