Lance should be kicked out of F1 alongside his father and let someone with real talent have a chance.

If you see the footage from the time Lance get's out of the car to the point where he shoves the trainer, you'll see the trainer guy getting right in his face about something. If you ask me the trainer was being a dick. But that changes nothing about Lance's f1 seat hoarding issue.

Stroll looks line a man suffering from 9-5 grind. Ya know, some guys hate their job, but gotta pay the bills and you see it all over their face. With Stroll is appears much the same, like he doesn't want to be a racecar driver during interviews. I think having an easy time getting in F1 (he skipped at least 2 step series along the way) he doesn't see the same value in it... like a rich kid who gets a BMW at 15, crashes it, gets another, has no internal component to place value since it required very little hard work to achieve. Either that or Lance just is severely depressed for other reasons. I mean being told to perform at the level of 2 greats in the sport has to dent your confidence.

I think NASCAR should have never banned these cars or the 426 hemi only for the sheer fact that when it comes to racing, you need to have your car built to not only win, but to compete against other manufacturers and other drivers so that means you Gotta make your car better we still want safety regulations, but by making competitions that are not as regulated for modifications allows better cars to be produced for the civilian market who knows we may have had hellcats made in the 60s if that was the case imagine showing up on the showroom floor a blown 426 hemi from the factory

I dont think it helps his devil may care attitude. I cant actually be bothered to be here. If I have an accident it is automatically someone else's fault. He has a very poor, very entitled attitude. It makes him very hard to like. There is no jeopardy if he crashes the car it really doesnt matter. The situation has made him too secure. Doesnt matter how I fair on the track because I have a race seat for as long I want. I can push people around like the trainer because he doesnt matter. Throw the extremely expensive sterring wheel around because it doesnt matter. There are no consequences for his actions. Then all the media who are terrified of criticizing him incase they lose access to Aston Martin and Alonso. Its sad, but honestly if his father wasnt in charge and he wasnt loaded what F1 team would hire him ?. If he became available I cant see many people breaking down his door to sign him. 8 years and proved to be midfield at best. Delusional to think he will be a future world champion.

I sort of think he beached his car in the formation lap last season in Brazil(?) because he didn't want to drive the car that day. I really don't know what driver (on or off track) takes a gravel patch over pavement to drive on? Like... the road is right there and you choose the gravel? Imagine you saw that on a regular highway. I can somewhat forgive Stroll's early career. His dad did help him make it into F1, but now 8-9 years of F1 experience, he should be able to perform so much better than we have seen. I've heard he has begun to lose interest in driving, so, with all do respect, I think he should step down from driving duties.

@@only_revved_up You are probably right. I suspect he is at a point where the pressure to win is high, and he isn't like the rest of the drivers where you live on the edge of losing your job. He has no real fear of "needing" to drive well. He just "wants" to drive well. Then you add knowing that you have all the supports and still don't do well. On top of all that you work for your Dad, who is paying for everything and you aren't making anything of it professionally. I think the mental game is catching up to him and he already doesn't handle hardship well. We will see what happens in a couple months I guess.

Make up your minds. Yes Lance stroll has his father's financial backing. So what ? According to all these naysayers and haters, if he outperforms his teammate its either because the team mate is not good enough it's portrayed as Lance stroll getting preferential treatment by the teamOr if he gets outperformed by a teammate he's just undeserving of the seat. This is just ridiculous baiting of a soft target simply because he has financial backing. Look at his teammates. Alonso who's basically demolished every single teammate he's had , perez...who's a solid driver, massa who was a one time championship contender for Ferrari no less .... I'm not saying Stroll is good or great, just that a lot of this kind of criticism is just toxic.

@@only_revved_up fair enough. But then Formula 1 is an expensive sport and not everyone has the depth of resources that a Ferrari or Mercedes or Red Bull have. And sometimes the.teams further down the grid have to make the hard choice.of sellimg a seat. You also need to understand that the kind of money you're talking about isnt something anyone on the planet can simply write out a cheque for. There are accounting and business compliances, board approvals , tax.cpmpliances etc and if Lawrence Stroll is managing all those compliances etc it's certainly for more than to keep his son in F1. This I believe is a long term plan by the Strolls to build the team up into title contenders on a regular basis which is why they've persisted with Alonso and Stroll. Have a consistent driver line up without intra team politics allows the engineers and other technical personnel to be built up, a team put in place and when the time is right maybe opt for drivers who will bring the title home or at least fight for it.

From paid drivers, we have seen far worst. He is inconsistent, and makes silly mistakes, but he isnt as slow as people think. From time to time he shows speed. The problem is now we are comparing him to freaking alonso. He wasnt that far from Vettel, who even in his decline, was still a great driver. People need to pick a baddie, and they chose Stroll, mainly because personality. But we recently had way worse paid drivers, at least while he is in the sport, lawrence invests heavily, and we might see alonso win again, and at least is with a car manufacturer which is being revitalized. could be worse
