Lance has never had a single moment of "brilliance" in his entire career. He has gotten lucky a few times, never has it been his decision making or his good driving that gave him the podium, just luck.

They build them lucky in Canada 😂

I can somewhat forgive Stroll's early career. His dad did help him make it into F1, but now 8-9 years of F1 experience, he should be able to perform so much better than we have seen. I've heard he has begun to lose interest in driving, so, with all do respect, I think he should step down from driving duties.

*I've just noticed I used the term "all due respect" wrong in my initial comment

That’s what I’ve heard as well, I think the best way for him is to switch to some other sport like Dakar or something I don’t even think Lance is at fault - what can you do when your billionaire father pushes you to race and you just can’t lol

Also if he got a pay seat at williams it's because they were willing to sell a seat and even with the 80 million purported investment they still made a turd.

Williams was a good team in early 2000s I believe, the daughter of old Williams ruined it for sure

From paid drivers, we have seen far worst. He is inconsistent, and makes silly mistakes, but he isnt as slow as people think. From time to time he shows speed. The problem is now we are comparing him to freaking alonso. He wasnt that far from Vettel, who even in his decline, was still a great driver. People need to pick a baddie, and they chose Stroll, mainly because personality. But we recently had way worse paid drivers, at least while he is in the sport, lawrence invests heavily, and we might see alonso win again, and at least is with a car manufacturer which is being revitalized. could be worse

100% agree The personality of this kid doesn't do him any favors I had to watch A LOT of his interviews while making this video and let me tell you - if he just got a SOLID PR training like everyone else we would think he’s alright. Not many people can freestyle on the interviewer's tricky questions (read Max), be like Lando, and avoid the mess

As a driver i don’t think he’s bad. I think he’s just dumb, he just does stupid things

Absolutely “I don't want this guy to pass me even tho I’m being lapped, let me crash into him”

Make up your minds. Yes Lance stroll has his father's financial backing. So what ? According to all these naysayers and haters, if he outperforms his teammate its either because the team mate is not good enough it's portrayed as Lance stroll getting preferential treatment by the teamOr if he gets outperformed by a teammate he's just undeserving of the seat. This is just ridiculous baiting of a soft target simply because he has financial backing. Look at his teammates. Alonso who's basically demolished every single teammate he's had , perez...who's a solid driver, massa who was a one time championship contender for Ferrari no less .... I'm not saying Stroll is good or great, just that a lot of this kind of criticism is just toxic.

The guy is bad, made to many bad decisions, all these years and he’s still a bum, and i’m a canadian

That's true btw! I completely agree that he’s going up against legends for teammates. I think we all just find that the disparity between the resources pouring in by his dad and his performance (read points) is insane, that's all
