Recently retired Delta captain. Flew into SAN loads of times- back in the 72 days, and later in the 75/76. Never had a problem but every time I flew over that multi-story garage on very short final, I wonder who got paid off for the building permit. That's why the threshold is displaced- to clear the top of the garage.

Why is the window so long?

It's a lot more fun when you take off from RW9 (or towards RW27) Also I wonder if SAN gets sensationalized as one of the "most dangerous airports" is because whoever wrote those things thinks the plane has to land near the edge of where the pavement starts and they don't realize RW27 has like a 1/3rd of a mile of threshold where you're not supposed to touch down on.

From a pilots perspective is there a lot of difference between the Global 6000 and the Global 8000

Thank you i am suffering mind racing and i can't sleep even i do a lot of work and exercise in a whole day but instead i can't sleep then i thought I've to educate myself for that and you solve everything, I've stopped drinking milk and started taking caffeine that's why it is happening and stopped healthy protein rich diet.

I have not flown for over 20 ++ years. But used to practice briefing for Innsbruck. In the box or with something to give them the shits it was good esp using an NDB as the preferred weapon of annoyance 😅
