Hi Jonas! I'm struggling to find good grass assets online. Where did you import the plant assets from? On megascans i'm running into problems with atlas maps and they don't look very realistic. Would really appreciate the help! Thank you!

Does it work to bring in models from the asset browser, and append other files that have been modeled in other versions of Blender (particularly 4.1 or 4.2) and then just do lighting / shading in Octane? And did you notice or run any tests on comparing render speeds? Cycles vs Octane?

i've noticed you have trouble with unwrapping, you can do it by selecting the faces that you want the label in, an then unwrap those faces

Thank you for this great tutorial! I have a problem, everything works except the attraction to the force. I don't understand, The disintegration is not influenced by the force I put. what could be the reasons?

If I raise the mass, my objects won't move. But when I put it back to zero, they glitch all over the place instead of the initial smooth motion I got at zero mass. I've cranked the strength on the force but nothing...

WTF that Universal material node is just ludacris, its so long and so many settings. Hope they will fix that with the new addition of the sub-panels available in nodes now with blender 4.0

Can i ask what made you switch to Octane for Blender vs Cycles?
@RomboutVersluijs2 ай бұрын
Does octane for blender only show octane nodes or do all blender nodes show? If not, they should add a filter or something, because it super confusing for a user. Its not that hard to make a filter system or make the nodes only show when your in octane render engine
