When I started keto...like you I ate a lot of convenience foods & even tried this too....#liveandlearn Carbquik has FLOUR & seed oils & even the mysterious "natural flavors" Not disparaging YOUR journey....been there done that too. But I am MUCH older than you & it was a matter of life or death in my weight loss journey & now live & eat as close to the proper human diet as God intended.

ACV? Thats a new one? Who is "someone" Dr. Berg? Color change is due to the maltodextrin. Maltodextrin can spike blood sugar in MANY people. In so far as "keto foods" are concerned...you are right...but....should care about puting seed oils & sugar to name a few of the long list of MW's ingredients in your body. Being "keto" means are you a sugar or a fat burner. I have found since watching your channel that your woe still contains a lot of premade/convenience foods & you count net carbs. Your body is confused & doent know what to burn off1st sugar or fat. That is not being mean it's the way YOU choose to be. The TRUE ketogenic diet was developed by Dr. Russell Wilder for chikdren with epilepsy.

Not just epilepsy. Also bipolar, ADHD, etc. I do not have these struggles, so I am not doing medical keto. There are lots of ways to do keto. Even those that use keto to treat neurological disorders, don't all do it the same way.

FYI though....the benefit 😅of #ketochow meal replacement shakes is to get the vitamins & minerals by mixing it with a fat source PLUS the fat satiates. Did you get 10, 20 or 30 % off too? I use Body Armor Flash IV packets for electrolytes. I have purchased a number of different flavors of Keto Chow and tried several of them. I think Lemon Meringue and Chocolate Toffee are my favorites. I have reordered Blueberry Pie and Core Chocolate, as I enjoy those, too. Do you have favorites?

@KristysKetoJourney yes I do. One pkt. of chocolate Toffee & one pkt. of peanut butter mixed together makes a knock off of "butterfinger" With all the drama of what happened to LMNT this year....I quit drinking that & now will only drink SaltT when my fasting is done next year.

@KristysKetoJourney sorry....I hit the send too soon. Typically my faily carb max setting is 20grams a day...the Body ArmorIV has 15 carbs per serving & the new formulation of the SaltT is less han 1 carb per pkg. The cephalic phase is a slippery slope for me! Dr. Fung taught me that.

For "ME" resistant starch was a justification "game" counting whole carbs is best. Bread cheese is best in an air fryer.

Happy belated birthday 🎉 🎂 🥮 You will like this recipe for taste & simplicity without the "grainy" almond flour texture. Furthermore it will satiate you! Easy ingredients to remember too. Start with room temperature ingredients. 8 eggs 8oz cream cheese 8 Tablespoons butter Butter either an 8x8 pan or a 8x4 bread loaf pan Preheat your oven to 350° Put all of your ingredients in a blender & mix well until very SMOOTH You may add 1tsp vanilla if desired. No other sweetener is required! Pour into your 1 desired pan of choice & bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Slice & enjoy! Feel free to use the maple syrup you made herein this video ☝️ My guests like to sprinkle a little cinnamon or nutmeg on top for Christmas brunch. Enjoy! Geri

Pro tip: Mixed too much breading? Only use 1/4 of the pork rind seasoning mix on a clean plate to use NOW. That way you can save the rest in the refrigerator to use at a later date. You don't want to cross contaminate.

What is this program you use? Personally I use Cronometer & have dabbled with carb manager. Is the 8 pounds at the top of the screen your goal weight? My Mayo Clinic goal weight is supposed to be 170-175 but I am comfortable at 195.

I used ketogains to set my macros.. I use fat secret to track my macros. I have used it in the past, so it's easy for me to use. My original goal weight of 195 was already in fat secret, from years ago when I was working towards loosing weight (not on keto). Once I reached 195 on keto, I lowered it to 185 just to lower it. I think the ideal weight for me (though I'm not sure on this) is around 150. But I doubt I will get that low. I'm really just tracking my weight because I like data and to make sure I'm healthy.

Greetings! My name is Geri & yes, I too have a channel on YT & you popped up as a suggested video channel. I'm your 12th subscriber. Have you ever watched Dr. Jason Fung or Dr. Ken D. Berry? Respectfully I would suggest that to help you learn about the ketogenic WOE(way of eating). Truly...I don't want to disparage you here on the comments....many of us who started the ketogenic WOE don't count calories per se....we count whole not net carbs not exceeding 20 grams of carbohydrates per day. Don't mean to be rude, but looking at your macro totals for the day, you ain't doing keto. Trust me. Firstly, Keto means eating whole foods & not take-out processed crap. Stop eating Chick-Fil-A. If you want chicken, then buy it from a butcher & cook it yourself without the bread coating. That breading is all carbs thats adding to your daily total. Go without. Secondly, the Keto diet means eating HIGH fat, moderate protein, & low carbs. And by low carbs I mean under 20 grams per day. Your macros are completely backwards. Your protein consumption is too high, your fat consumption is too low, & you're carb allowance for the day is over the limit. Just to give you an example, an ideal day of eating keto should look like: 122.65g of fat, 82.85g of protein, & 18g of carbs. Don't count the calories, they don't mean a thing. Don't restrict calories either, otherwise your metabolism slows down to compensate. Just concentrate on getting the macros right: High fat, moderate protein, low carbs. Eat three meals a day, 2 is better if you can, don't snack between meals & incorporate intermittant fasting where ever possible. Lastly, stay hydrated with plenty of water & electrolytes (magnesium, sodium & potassium). Good luck.
