Us express. Requires you to nose in at thier yard in Markham. Your not supposed to back in.

Sometimes nose in just makes more sense. You have 44k on the truck and your twisting flat spots on your steers. Its way faster nosing in and backing out.

I was taught how to drive in a day cab an in a sleeper. On the highway or the side roads sharp turns what to look for how to back in different places. I drove a lot in school. So not all schools are like this. But this man here is very informational because most schools are like this.

I know this is 3 years after the fact but, if its still wearing this way you should look at the rear suspension bushing, ( including torque arm bushings) then have it aligned if you replace bushings. you made the correct choice on putting the new tires in the #3 axle, they wear faster be cause the 3rd axle gets most of the tire "scrub" from tight turns. when you get new tire rotate the #3 axle tires to #2 axle and put the new tires on #3 axle you will get longer tire life over all.

You don't have to be owner operator, company drivers have to pay their tickets too. I don't touch it if its over 40k. I don't get paid enough for the risk.

The only tiny detail you missed was the headlights. You don't have headlights hitting you all night and you don't have some more on parking across from you that forgets to turn them off so you're just sitting in a spotlight

It's lazy, dangerous, and uses more space in an already small parking lot. Steering wheel holder mentality.

Had my CDL-A with ALL endorsements even the “P” and still can’t land a job without having to go OTR! I have a wife and children that I love dearly and cannot be away from them that long. I don’t need to be rich I just want to be comfortable. Any suggestions? Serious ones only please 🙏🏾

Hourly [with overtime pay] is always better. How is it even a discussion? The only reason for there being so many pay structures is to short driver pay. They deduce which payment style benefits them the most and you the least and then go with that pay structure. And hourly is far less stressful. Get held up by an accident or slow dock workers and you don't have to fret over it.

I’m not a trucker but I don’t think it’s secured enough. Those ones on top with no strap through, scare me if you were driving next to me. But I honestly don’t know the absolute correct way to make that load the safest. Please show us

Aye, one thing I've learned since I started driving trucks is all the drivers who been in the game for some years never miss an opportunity to let you know about it. Congrats - you still subjected to the same BS we ALL go thru.

I'm a UK truck driver. I drive for fedex uk. I goto 2 local depots, one customer collection then to a national hub, then back to my starting depot. I start at 13:00 (1pm) and finish at 00:00 (midnight) I get paid £18.50 per hour ($23 usd) I get a 1 hour break deducted per day so get paid for 10hrs on an 11hr shift. I do this mon-fri so 50 hours @ $23ph = $1150 per week. 21% is deducted automatically out of my wage before it get to my bank for tax and national insurance (health care) Each week I have $908 into my account. I'm mostly sat waiting for the depots and customer to load/unload the trailer. Each day i will do 5 hours waiting, 1 hour official break, 4 hours driving (160 miles driven per day, 70% of that is free flowing highway) If this was in the USA would this be considered a good job or not?

Hey bro great videos, can I go for manual restriction and upgrade later once I get a job? Just trying to make it easier for myself so I can pass also I already know how to work a manual transmisson on a regular vehicle but i know its still different because its more speeds and double clutch just trying get in the field and concentrate on passing. what would you recommend? do the schools come with the road test? Thanks

😂 yo that was my comment! Your channel is one of the reasons im in trucking in the first place. As you said having control is one of the best benefits, I ran a lawncare business for a few years and I loved the freedom as well thats why Im struggling with if I should just take the leap. As usual thanks for the content it always gives great insight.

If you aa company driver making that they are working you too death,the whole clock.....I'm a owner operator out of NC i do intermodal and dry van... For me i'm blessed to only drive 6-7 hours a day,and sometimes take off 3 days a week.....And the freedom to attend my daughters school events and other family things..Family/Money.... A family member driving ups freight and they working him 11hrs a day..Another fuel hauler 12 hrs a day and can't do anything with the family during the week😢
@DPLS776 күн бұрын
The 120 comes from earning about 250,000 IF you were a O/O, because after paying 35-45% in taxes (15 self employment and 30-40 fed+state) and after paying for fuel (about 40k), you get approx 120,000. I think it's a fair number if you don't want to deal with the headaches that comes with being an O/O. If you go the operator route, you have to making AT LEAST 5k a week depending on your state...consistently the entire year...just to keep up with a 120 company driver. That's assuming you also own your truck and are not paying it, if you are still paying it you have to earn more. Not impossible, but definitely challenging.
@Peaceandbless6 күн бұрын
35-45% 😂😂 America gives you advantages of having your own business and tax codes....Yea stay a yes man, a company driver....Also they definitely working 12 hrs a day,while I can make that net working 6-7 hrs a day and the freedom of attending most of my daughters school events, my cousin work ups making money, but he can make no kind of events for his kids...So it's about what's important to you family, freedom,money
