One other note about your 66-1 that makes it collectible is the S&W badging is on the right side of the gun. They only did that for the 66 and 66-1. When 66-2 came out they started putting the badging on the left side and they have continued to do so ever since.

I just installed my SRT on my P226; what a difference, no slack at all on the single action and take up is maybe 1/4" or less, nice feel. I used my wooden handscrew clamps to hold the borrom of the grip area (after grips were removed) to steady the piece, putting in the sear was the most idfficult but not too hard, I recommend changing your factory pistol tot he SRT.

I seen someone have a pinned magazine in cali that had a quick detach to seperate the upper from the lower and onces seperated you can actually drop the mag once back together the mag is pinned . Is this a cali thing only or is this legal in all pinned states? Im in ny and i never seen anyone with a pinned mag that still detaches once the rifle pin is out
