Look into the big bore kit and big valve head if that’s too much bolt on mods might be a little better. I got this bike for my girlfriend and was also disappointed but they make a 26mm carb kit and paired with a k&n air filter it really wakes the bike up especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust.

The reason is they come with too low of a idle and I don’t have a problem with it but I’m gonna turn it up a bit

No, im using a 2002 kx100 rear shock that I had my suspension guy at bumpstiks rebuild, all new stiffer spring and i have it setup for my weight, rides good

Will KX100 (or 85) fork guards fit on this bikes' stock forks?

No, the stock forks use a rubber boot

Thank you for your response, and I noticed you use KX100 forks. With KX100 forks, I suppose you have to buy all new brake setup for the front, and also new clamps. Or are those parts compatible?

DigitalDinosours For the full conversion you need kx100/kx85 forks, triple clamps, front break system, kx100 rear shock. The only thing stock you can use is the front wheel. (you need to put stiffer springs in the forks and rear shock since the 140 is heavier than the kx100.
