Beautiful scenery. I love watching expert paddlers as it is inspiring.

I noticed that while hiking and saw it from a distance, I wondered what it was and how it spews out water like that. My theory is that there is a hole in the rock and the water current forces it out. It almost looks like a broken pipe. Its a pretty unique feature, I haven't seen anything like it before.

Thanks. This is the first video where I can clearly see how to get into a racing canoe! Will have to try your technique as soon as the water warms up a bit!

This is Vanquish 3, right? Seeing You paddle like a pro, You must have tried other K1s in the Nelo line-up. How does the Vanquish compare to the likes of Quattro and Cinco? I am thinking on buying a used Vanquish 2 at a competitive price, but can't try it out before buying. Would appreciate Your thoughts!

So cool! How do you do fly the ama while paddling?
@colbert6122 Жыл бұрын
My comment is 6 years late, but Put weight (& pressure) on the paddle, while on the non-ama side. Additionally can slightly shift hips towards non-ama side. Find the balance point where the ama is up off the water, but not so much that you huli. If you're about to huli, slap the water (or apply pressure to the flat blade on the water)

Hi, do you think the sea vanquish would be suitable as a sea racer (it's labelled as one by Nelo). Not proper sea kayaking but for racing Agassi t surf skis and sea kayaks in bay races and tidal rivers that can have a few feet of chop. Like in the UK the Poole harbour race a 15 mike race around a harbour. Do you think it could cope well with a race like this?
@kurtkaunzinger27597 жыл бұрын
Hello Conor, the Sea Vanquish is quite different than this Vanquish I am paddling. My Vanquish is only for flat water and could not cope with open water conditions. The Sea Vanquish is Nelo's attempt to combine a sea kayak design with a flatwater kayak design. And thus the name, but I cannot comment on how it performs in open conditions. I believe that it has some rocker and probably wider so it will not compare in speed to a flatwater kayak on calm water. My only suggestion is that if you want to race in more open conditions you should consider getting a surf ski. They are much safer in that you can re-mount (with practice) if you capsize. Cheers, Kurt
