Did we ever find out why the defences failed? Were they not high enough ?

Remember it well. Sad it wasn't rebuilt and a monstrosity bridge has replaced it.

Hi there. Did you film this footage yourself? We're working on a new documentary series called "World's Wildest Weather" and we'd love to chat about using your footage in the show. Is there an email address we can contact you on? Thanks! Lucy

£ signs because that's what Allerdale council see when ignoring the flood risk advice and plan to let developers build on that very field? The irony.

Hi! I currently go the University of Cumbria in Carlisle and we are doing a short documentary about the recent flooding, Could you possible allow me to use this footage in my documentary? It's a great angle we could use, I would be happy to show you the final product. My email is [email protected], Please contact me if you are interested! Thank you for taking your time to read this :)

That's the best smooth footage I've seen yet of my home City being flooded (again!). The news never showed the full extent, and the Civic Centre/Hardwicke Circus area wasn't really shown - it was all focused on Warwick Road.

Hi there, really dramatic footage, captures the scale of the issue perfectly. I work for a Ch5 documentary series, we are following what's happening in Cumbria and how local people have been coping with what has happened there. I wondered whether you might consider allowing us to use your footage in our programme? If you would like to find out more, send me an email with your contact details and I'll give you a call. +Emma Fraser floods probably caused or at the very least aided by geo engineering, weather modification and chem trails. i bet that wont get a mention on ur mainstream documentary.

+Andrey Nosatîi global warming climate change and all that bollox is a scam and a massive deception by our tyrannical rulers. the only change happening to our beautiful planet is greed from corporations AND everyday people that just consume and waste and take things for granted like the fuels we needlessly burn when there is free energy from the earth that our 'leaders' hold from us. i would say its more like the effects of geo-engineering and weather modification. google 'project cumulus aka operation witchdoctor' and u will get an idea of the scale of the powers that our 'government' has.

I'm just amazed at this, what happened to the millions spent on flood defences?? How let down do those who replied upon the council to protect their homes feel? At the end of the day there is always one person at which the buck will stop, that person should be made very public because sadly this won't be the last time we see this devastation.
@nuggnugg20818 жыл бұрын
+LA X absolutely, and in my opinion its all down to geo engineering, chem trails and weather modification.

Superb footage guys. You've really captured the extent of the devastation caused this time, more so than most of the news corps.. You should use this at part of a campaign to lobby our southern bias government to stop cutting corners and invest some proper money into our area. Keep up the good work
