There seems to be a lot of different problems with the boot lock, I couldn’t find the same problem with mine so I had to locate the problem myself. I hope this helps others to fix there car

This is the only video that I have had. with the exact same problem. Will definitely try this tomorrow. I wonder if this in any way related to my wipers also not working because the problems started simultaneously.

Do you do away with the leaf springs or do you have to keep them?

It’s a recovery truck, so I fitted it along side the leaf springs for more stability. You need to keep the leaf springs as that’s what holds the rear axle in place.
