MK7 Fiesta boot lock problem FIXED

Ford fiesta mk7 boot unlocking on when locking or unlocking the car.
I have seen lots of problems with the boot on a mk7 fiesta, I couldn’t find any fixes on KZbin or the internet. I actually found the problem myself, so I thought I would share it.
It looks like a passenger can accidentally knock the plug lose when stretching their legs. The plug can be located under the glove box.

This is the only video that I have had. with the exact same problem. Will definitely try this tomorrow. I wonder if this in any way related to my wipers also not working because the problems started simultaneously.

There seems to be a lot of different problems with the boot lock, I couldn’t find the same problem with mine so I had to locate the problem myself. I hope this helps others to fix there car
