Very good playthrough! Thank you very much for it. You put 30+ hours in it (plus editing), and your brother potentially even more in creating the map. Hats off to both of you guys. I enjoyed this so much, having both of you there. Keep it up guys!

btw, about not using load game, and eventually losing: there was a game played by another H3 youtuber that I also respect a lot, he was playing I think the map 'a cold day in hell', which I saw had 36 episodes. I was like WTF, how can a large map have so many episodes, and well, he had to restart after 10 episodes, as the enemy just got out of control :) that is totally fine. he restarted, did not put off the previous episodes, and won the map on the 2nd attempt. it was fun to see too! no shame in that at all, I say. so do not worry my friend, everyone will equally love your videos even if you eventually lose once!

what love went into to this, also your video man- but the hota flavah does alter the ground game mechanics, also it talks to tons that it's hard to to this 25 years after game release.. what a gem homm3 is.

Just finished this map on a Castle playthrough! I did end up using the Horn of the Abyss on my main hero Mephala and ended up with a doomstack of Fangarms by the end. I honestly think the toughest hero to take down in the end was Gretchen, just due to how hard those Ancient Behemoths hit! Loved watching the play through man! Keep it up!

The version I played alongside your playthrough had neither the sulfur stack nor the 1K genies nor the 3K Titans. Was very challenging, but I finished it in 15 months with some reloads. I like the reloads, because it's so satisfying to improve drastically. Kudos for your playthrough though. Don't make the map too hard, because then it becomes inaccessible to the average player, and that's most people.

This was a really great playthrough. Enjoyed having your bro there with some extra commentary. I think the turning point was getting the 4k Sea serpents, that kind of gave you that super fat stack you needed to go with all your shooters. I also remember the wealthy islands battle where your nix warriors tanked hard against all enemy dragons, even though the army numbers were outrageous in this map, that battle I think was alot more stressful and tactical. On to the next one!

Having this, recap type videos really shows true commitment to maps that you play. i been thru this playthrough since the beginning, among the first viewers, and i really enjoyed this playthrough, and there are several points during this play. First of all, people don't realize what truly no load save games means, and i understand why are you so careful. few "slopy" plays are natural, no problems there. god job on remembering all the portals and pathways. considering the map, it is made in such way that challenges you in specific manner. me personally, i am not a fan of ultra big numbers, i like more "natural feel" and numbers that you can get in towns, and in the end, numbers doesn't matter. if you had proportionately smaller army, and the enemy, it would be the same. also, it is clearly man made map. all the areas are squared, and there is not much that organic feel to the map. everything is like just thrown on the map, like structures and dwellings whiteout explanation how they get there in the first place.. after playing so much heroes, i enjoy only those kind of maps nowadays, that are like nature made. if you liked that little game and challenge in the beginning, play map called "Talent shortage", it is original map Whitin HOTA, you would like it very much. butt, me personally would verry much like H3G to play that timeless classic map "Free for All". on whole you tube, there is not one good playthrough of that map, and it is challenging, quite challenging if you play it on impossible. for a change, it is smaller than this, it is a large map but it would be packed with action and diverse opponents. looking forward seeing new series on this channel. KEEP IT UP!!!! PS i made your impression of battle music as my ringtone.

This might be my fav playthrough, so thanks you guys. Really unique and the action was nailbiting. After that you might need a coffee and bowl of cereal. Just a little bit of corn at work

I disagree with your brother. I like it more when you're cautious and win the map rather than play it recklessly and possibly lose after all the build-up with the playthrough. You killed this map. Might've hurt your brother's ego a little bit😅

Fire shield took the nix warriors, and you can try to get "corgis"?, i don't remember how to spell his name, to fariey dragons for permenent town portal
