With the stickers, you can use a heat gun/hair dryer and it will soften the adhesive!

Great video Laurie. I am ordering pipes, flanges and wood now to make a stereo/tv stand with custom openings for my stereo components. Enjoy your new office.

I like you energy. I have an old IKEA book shelf that’s circling the drain. I was going to haul it to the garage and paint it, but it’s not sturdy. I like how you varied the height to surround your window. The gray stain was unexpected but it works in your space and I’ll bet will be a color you’ll like for a long time to come. I’m gonna give it a shot. Thank you.

This was great, i did NOT care for the dog 'bit' That could have seriously ended poorly for that dog. I found that to be incredibly poor taste.

Do you know the cost break down
@laurieshultz70523 жыл бұрын
Hi Earl! I believe this cost me around $350. I think about $80 in lumber and the rest in pipe fittings. I have since discovered that you can buy some decorative pipe fittings at a fraction of the cost on Amazon. If I had to do it again, I would definitely go that route!

I like the rope shelf design but I'm afraid about the maximum weight it can handle, how can you know about it? (*noobie diyer)
@laurieshultz70523 жыл бұрын
I'm so glad you like it! Honestly, I couldn't give you a maximum weight capacity, but there are a few things that I know: 1) The 2x8's are quite strong 2) The rope options have weight limits on them, so when you purchase to your specifications and 3) I drilled the hooks into studs. These 3 things allow for a good amount of weight to be placed on the shelf. Hope this helps!

Love this, thank you. Also love the wooden sofa on your website but you didn't add the instructions. I really want to make that one! I can't work out how the seat is attached to the sides, lol. It's beautiful.
@laurieshultz70523 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I guess I need to get on top of this stuff. I love how the outdoor sofa turned out too! I just used some construction grade L-brackets and 2x4's for the seat and back braces, and a futon mattress with an outdoor cover for the cushion! I would advise that you construct it on site. That thing is a beast to try to move!

So awesome!!!! Curious to how much it cost you. Thinking about making myself one but with caster wheels at the bottom
@laurieshultz70523 жыл бұрын
It has been awhile since I made this, but I would estimate that it cost around $350. The hardware that I used was from Home Depot and it was actual plumbing pipe fittings. I have since discovered that Amazon carries some decorative hardware that looks just as awesome, but costs much much less! Definitely something to look into!
