I am a mid Sophomore, I am only now joining the football team of my high school, I run a tight knit community where we animate some animations and post them onto KZbin, I did create a Pokémon club but that was a year before Covid-19. I am going to a volunteer orientation on the 31st at my local children's museum, I will be taking advanced aquatics in my Junior year, my best GPA was a 3.6, this semester I started off strong, so I hope to get a 4.0. I will be taking the Life Guard certification test during my time in AA. I am SERV Save certified, I had worked as the Sous chef for my culinary classes, I am looking into starting an animation club at my school as well as helping others with their animation projects. I have gotten my Math teacher to agree to write a recommendation letter for the Academy. I will be taking AP Lit and Comp while taking Ap Comparative Gov and AP Gov. How do I look guys, is there anything I should do as of yet?

Why is there such an increase in Naval officers being relieved of command due to a lack of confidence? Has the Naval Academy gone Woke?

They don't let you choose your service length or branch? That's pretty crazy. I served enlisted in the Marines, and I even got a got to choose my duty station.
@jamison884Ай бұрын
I'm just a random civilian who is proud of the US military, the talented servicemen and women in each of the branches, and in particular, all of the amazing individuals who ultimately attend the United States military academies. These institutions blend a high-quality general education, focused studies, military training, athletics and physical health, discipline, respect, and leadership, all qualities that combine to prepare each student to live a highly successful and productive life. Watching this video has motivated me to share my story and also ask a question at the end. I was forced to take a different path, as renal cell carcinoma went undetected for years and the damaged cells began multiplying when I was just a kid, slowly wreaking havoc on my body before ultimately receiving a diagnosis in my 20's. Memorial Sloan-Kettering saved my life, but the damage done forced me to drop out of high school and obtain a GED. Then, I was foolish and ignorant enough to pursue other interests and jobs instead of immediately obtaining my university degree, which would have allowed me to graduate at 20 years old if I had gone straight from GED to classes. Now, I'm a middle-aged professional in a white-collar job with regrets of never having the opportunity to serve my country. However, I hope there's an alternate universe out there where I pursued the path of attending one of our world-class military academies. Given the age of this video, I believe you should have graduated and are stationed somewhere in the fleet by now. I'd truly appreciate a quick general update if possible, please (while maintaining OPSEC, of course). Thank you for the video.

Good day sir, I just stumbled upon your post on KZbin since I am helping my son to be accepted at USNA next year. He just finished the 2024 summer seminar last June and he is convinced to pursue this dream. I consider him an average student and consistently getting awards from elementary to middle school , his first 2 years in high school I still consider good but his junior year in not very good since he joined the varsity wrestling team, his focus shifted to wrestling which paid of since be is the inland empire 116 lbs. champion and will be the team captain this coming senior year but he have a D in AP pre calculus, he still has an above 4.0 GPA and is in JROTC with a rank of 1st. lt. and commander of the drill team and about to become a squadron commander his senior year . He is also the lead altar server in our church that trains incoming altar servers. Can I ask your help , any advice and motivation to have a better chance of being accepted is very much appreciated. Thank you very much.
