I'm sorry mate, but your video is to unstable. Camera flying all over the place. I get dizzy... Probably good content, but i would suggest using a stabilizer program or showing it on something different, say paint rather than whiteboard.

Very cool - gives me ideas on transcribing my calls or voice recordings and then generate summaries that I can refer to whenever I call back or talk to someone. Now, all I need to do is... do it all in Home Assistant instead of using Node Red. 🤣

Hello, I enjoy your videos but why do you insist on using proprietary software which are subscription based when sometimes there's open source and selfhosted alternatives that besides being private are most of the times free... If you keep adding proprietary software and services your adding endless rents for your day to day living... Not everyone will be able to afford subscriptions upon subscriptions... Instead of notion you should have tried appflowy instead... No more proprietary software please, unless there is no similar performance open source software.

An example how AI is useless in this case. What I'm awaiting for? I go out of my house and the TV is running. Then you get a telegram Message: Hey, TV is running and you're not at home. Shout i switch it off? And you can say: oh yeah, please switch it off. That's a point where AI make sense. If you don't have a rule for this kind of situation the AI ask you. That is smart...

Sir. As someone who lives in a parallel world, doing similar work, this is the first video that made me realize I need node red in my life. This is one of those videos that I might just look back on as a video that changed my life. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you, i'm stoked you like my content! You should try out node-RED. I would love to see what you can do with it. You seem extremely comfortable with YAML and intricacies of Home Assistant so I imagine you would be nothing short of a wizard with the power Node-RED gives you 😁🪄

Everything RAG’d, it working on 100’s of projects ur both working on. Interrupting u when milestones are met. Full root of an operating environment, eventually full control of the systems running it.

Hi, thank you for the video. I learned so much. Now i can realise my lights with webhooks over the shelly walldisplay multitouch geasture. But i have one problem, when i try to crate the webhook in nodered there is a message "This node requires Node-RED custom integration version 1.6.0+ to be installed in Home Assistant for it to function." How can i fix that problem? thank you

Hi @technithusiast, thanks for the fantastic content! I’m working on implementing a simple chatbot example that sends messages using your Register/Call intent and tools node. I’m encountering an issue where the Call Intent throws an error: "payload is missing nodeName property." This only happens when I set the Tool Choice in the OpenAI node to automatic. However, if I manually configure the intent, everything works as expected. I’m not sure if this is a library bug or something I might be doing incorrectly, but I wanted to bring it to your attention and see if you have any guidance. Thanks in advance for your help!
@technithusiast15 күн бұрын
Hi thanks for reaching out! To my knowledge the package is working as expected however I find that it’s a bit complicated and cumbersome which causes it to be easily misconfigured. so I’m building version 3 which will use less nodes and be more straight forward

@technithusiast Quick update. I don't think that the problem is in your library. Is just that the responses that I'm receiving are inconsistent. One time ChatGPT is replying correctly the correct tool to use and another time not. I think that I have to review the System information to fix this
@technithusiast12 күн бұрын

Me too. The Pixel phones also have a transcribe function and I wonder if it can be saved into a Google drive folder that's shared with Obsidian ?!
@markloughtonUK17 күн бұрын
I did a test and its possible to use the Recorder app (on Pixel phone) and share the transcribe directly to Obsidian (and therefore Google Drive if its used to store Obsidian data). No idea how to get it pushed Gemini from there though.
@dakotaferris484217 күн бұрын
That's an interesting idea. I'm syncing mine through nexcloud webdav so a little different. I know Obsidian has a self hosted plug in (I think octopus) to run an llm of your data but I didn't have much luck with it
@sdfhjklhsfdjdsflhkds18 күн бұрын
Thanks for this. Once again, you've got me thinking. Not about producing KZbin videos (cool, but not my thing), but how to apply to the things that I need to do as part of my work as a Product Manager. Like the stuff that doesn't need all of my brain. The key learnings for me were: a pragmatic approach to the World of Text; capture everything; extend my existing Node-RED based AI flows; and get some intent-focused automations always watching for new data. Not a huge fan of Notion, but a big shout out for surfacing Fabric to me. This looks really interesting and I need to figure out how to add Fabric as another server/endpoint that I can call from Node-RED. I think it opens up some really exciting possibilities in the future. I mean really next-level kinda stuff. As always, thanks for framing the "what problem am I trying to solve" so clearly and providing a thought framework to leverage and learn from. Signed up for the Community waitlist and will share any future progress / findings / mistakes with the rest of your community as it happens. This is gonna be a trip!

Hi Michael! I'm really impressed by how you use automations and Node-Red to streamline your workflow. I'm interested in trying similar ideas but don't quite follow every step. Do you have any plans to share your Node-Red flows or a guide for them? Alternatively, is this something you might release for the community in the future? Thanks for all the inspiration!
