Flannels don’t hold the heat for long enough, minimum of 10 mins for mild to moderate mgd but it’s relatively ineffective for severe! Glad you are highlighting this!

I have it and it was just diagnosed after my first flare up. I'm not sure how to talk about it with people, despite it being more common. I tend to have some blurred vision and low grade pain. I'm still in the middle of the usual 6-week flare up period. Glad you make this. Helps to explain things. I find the new eye care routine to be a lot, but it's better than swollen eyes, etc.

The eye doctor told me to put contact solution on q-tips and clean the eyelids. I’ve been doing this along with a warm facecloth for 8 years.

My pony wouldn't stay, but I watched a video and you have to bend the comb so it has a curve to it and don't place it in your hair place it in your hair tie, the use the velcro and wrap that extra piece and one Bobby pin secures it in place, i wear mine all the time for hours and it stays but I do have the Human hair one not faux.

Hi I have the same problems. I was diagnosed 2 years ago. I still suffer with red dry eyes and after I had a huge flare up u noticed wrinkles on the bottom of my eyes. Is it safe to use retinol cream for the wrinkles. Please help. I used rooibos tea to wash my eyes that also helped.

I have a huge eye makeup collection so this is the worst thing that has happened to me :( thanks for sharing this because I want to know what I can safely wear after my eyes are normal again. It’s not make ups fault, I work in an environment with lots of particulate matter and allergens in the air, the use of cosmetics didn’t help, though. sucks

Castor oil and some drops of tea tree oil mixed with Johnson's baby shampoo did wonders for me.

Blepharitis AND meibomitis equals basically no eye makeup ever except when I have to be on camera and need eye definition and feel like risking a chalazion. Anybody who gives someone a hard time for not wearing eye makeup clearly has no idea what a bacteria farm most eye products and applicators are. If the general population were to have the burning, watering eyes OR get chalazia from wearing mascara for six hours, maybe they'd appreciate what happens when one has old people eyelids. ;/ I haven't been able to wear the slightly winged eyeliner I used to love for over 20 years now; so long that that wouldn't look right on me anymore anyways. :-o

I'm going to do a diy with it. Since it came free. I will buy a longer clips and sew the shit of it. To secure it.

Hey Eve, I was recently diagnosed and am on heavy antibiotics after undergoing my first flare up which felt like my eyes were on fire. We are hopeing to clear it up by next appointment to then keep it under control but I wanted to ask. How long can you or have you gone without a flare up in your experiences. thank you for these tips, i am currently having a case of blepharitis myself (blurry vision, strange thigns in my eyelids etc) so hopefully this will work in my case, eye doctor told me it might take 3 or 4 months to finally notice a difference.
