What paper are you using??? The pastels stick to it so well. Every time I try to work in pastel, they just fall off and I can’t seem to layer right.

I love pastel art. But the sounds of the dry rubbing of pigment by fingers, or even worse paper blending stumps, is like nails driven into the back of my brain. Just makes me appreciate those who can tolerate it to make beautiful things even more
