For anyone with the rear bumper off, unscrew the side heat shields and remove them, about 5 bolts,, Unbolt your tail pipes and remove, that way you can either swing the mufflers to the side (they swing on the bracket easy access to the plugs) or unbolt the side mufflers, 2 bolts,, both easy jobs takes around 10 mins, at that point you have full access to the spark plugs without even removing the wheels, there is no awkwardness getting them out, its straight forward,, still a helpful video though, but if you went the extra mile you'd have found it so much easier.

life would have been so easy for you doing this job if you had taken the extra 10mins to removes all the heat shields, access to everything would have made it so easy, I just used a G clamp hit it with a hammer on every bolt and replaced them, I wasn't on a ramp on the floor easy to do, with the heatshields out the way, no need for Vice set up :-), informative video made it look harder than what it was tho, ,I kept saying to myself, Remove the heat shields 🙂
@PIFDIY6 күн бұрын
Actually not true. What made the job more difficult were the rusted/seized fasteners. Regardless of whether the heat shields were in or out, the fasteners needed to be worked on using various time consuming methods.

In a worse case, you'll need to reinstall windows and your game files (and whatever else is important). So, the best strategy is to back up everything you care about and then give it a try. If you're unsure how to install windows from scratch, there are plenty of tutorials online.

Hey thanks for the video. I just wanted to make a note, to let you know that the dialog at the link that shows the pin-out, states that the outputs from the Head Unit are Hi Level (Speaker Level) outputs, and then further down the page, someone suggests that they should connect them to the Speaker Level Inputs on the new Amp, when in fact they are Line Level, and should be spliced into RCA cables and plugged into the Amp thru the RCA Inputs, like you did in this video. Just in case there was any confusion due to the conflicting statements... Thanks again.

"Nobody had analog multi meters" I disagree, I have one for the simple fact that watching a digital meter bounce around all over is insane. The analog is far less dramatic and the needle is either going up or down or steady. Much simpler to read and you can tell if there is power or not.

Question: just got my spark plugs replaced at the dealership, it’s a 2015 c2, with 35,000km, 21k miles. Before taking it in the idle needle was perfectly solid at idle when stopped at a stop light… Now the car ever so slightly has an up and down flow, like about 50rpm up and down constantly. Dealership is saying it’s normal and it was always there… I’m ocd, it never did this before. Performance isn’t affected, nor does it feel like it’s going to stall or anything but this definitely isn’t right. Any ideas what they could have messed up? Again, this is a Porsche dealership. Any help would be great!

What goes into the socket at 15:00 minutes? the wire from the coil connects to the socket at 16:00 minutes correct? I’m just really confused about the connection shown at 15:00 minutes
@PIFDIY3 ай бұрын
Sameer, it's hard for me to remember but pretty sure you won't be dealing with the socket at 15:00. I think that was a connection that was part of the wiring harness. The wiring went from there to the high temp cutoff and then to the coil. I took it apart to measure the 12V because it was easier to get to than the actual coil connection. In your case, if you never took it apart, just ignore it and make your connection at 16:00 minutes only. Good luck!
@Sameer_AhmadTV3 ай бұрын
@@PIFDIY I see! Now I’m pretty sure I connected the wires wrong hence why my new clutch started smoking up when I started the AC.
@Sameer_AhmadTV3 ай бұрын
Hey, I replaced my clutch yesterday and after testing it, the clutch started smoking and I shut off the AC to prevent a fire. I’m not sure if I made a mistake with the connection or tightened the clutch too much to the point where it’s causing friction. I connected the wire from the coil to the connector coming from the engine bay, I also noticed another connector but there is no socket to connect a wire into.

Move the shut off to the end of hose. Then you don’t have to do all that. Turning on turning off the water the power. You could just shut the water right behind sprayer, pop the sprayer off put on your new wand.

Having a highly repairable refrigerator with an awesome warranty is so much better than owning a disposable one. I love how they give you a free compressor on a high end refrigerator like the 1993 top compressor kitchenaid fridge my mom used to have whenever there is a significant loss of refrigerant charge when it’s under warranty.
