Yeah, there's a forum called UER and it has sections that go over everything you'd need to know, hazards, how to find locations, etc. It's an old forum and not many people actively post on it now but there's a treasure trove of information. UER stands for "Urban Explorers Resource".

@@boxlikefish3484 i was like 17 when I did this, I just wouldn’t recommend climbing towers at all. I originally saw a video of some urbexers climbing up an ABANDONED radio tower years ago, which put the thought in my head, but an abandoned tower is safe because it’s not emitting. Being a stupid teenager and climbing up an active cell tower is just stupid. So if you can find some sort of abandoned, non transmitting tower to climb that’s awesome go for it! but don’t do active ones there is just other cool urbex things to do…

@@venfurbon Climbing a live tower is pretty safe as well if you know what exactly you're climbing and what transmitters/antennas are there. But someone who can't even say what a big white box is doing there shouldn't be anywhere near them lol.
