The production value is awesome. The driving and the music was really well done. But I was expecting the light bar to flash. It has wires going to it and like 4 or 5 LEDs looks like inside each side.

Awesome video man! Although I was half expecting to see some Mini watermelon 🍉 in the back of the truck. Excellent mate I love it. I've got a Midnight Pumpkin also but haven't got around to building it yet. And watching a lot of videos on KZbin is giving me some ideas on what colour I should paint mine.👍👌

Hello friend, wonderful race, do you think I can take a Dt-03 to 22 mph to run on track? Do you think the differential and transmission wear out quickly? greetings
@kevinlong2167 Жыл бұрын
Having had Tamiya buggies and race spec Kyosho buggies, you could - 22mph is a manageable and crash resistance speed for a plastic chassis. But if you want to be competitive you’ll be outclassed. I’ve had a Tamiya TT02-b doing 34mph with a brushless motor setup, which is probably pushing the limits of the chassis. All it would’ve took is a flip and a roll and the plastic chassis would’ve been in bits.

I love how tamiya clearly says, dont run a lipo and literally everyone that has build a dt-03 with the tble esc... Uses 2s lipos xD
@RCShowdown Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for your comment. You're right, you can't run a stock DT03 on a lipo since the ESC included in the kit doesn't have a voltage cut off. So running a stock DT03 on Lipo will most likely damage not only the ESC but also the Lipo battery. Of course we changed the ESC for this video for one that can handle Lipo batteries. The mechanics and the gearbox of this buggy can definitely handle the "abuse" of this more aggressive electronic setup. Now we're running all these DT03s shown in the video on Brushless Motors with 2-3s Lipos and it's so unbelievably quick! And until now nothing broke, the gears still look completely fine! It's a super robust chassis :D
@duncandehulst2016 Жыл бұрын
@@RCShowdown hehe, i know about the lack of a voltage cut off, but i also heard that technically yes, you shouldn't run lipo's on the tble-4 buuut, if you run a voltage alarm, you should be fine when it comes to the battery as long as you go with 2 cell lipo, 3s will most like emidiatly burn the esc to a crisp as the input voltage of the tble is 7.2V not 11.1 xD

@@duncandehulst2016 That's true, with 3S you'd have a DT-03 smoking machine. 🤣

LG Gecko
@RCShowdown3 жыл бұрын
Hi Gecko!
