Thank you. I see they do the gear box with 370 motor assembled. I have upgraded the servo, ESC, radio equipment, lights. What other parts do you recommend?

You're welcome! I'm currently building the WPL Ural 6x6. Despite the electronics and the gearbox/motor assembly I added an all metal drive train. This set is a bit more expensive (50€ for 6x6) but it is definitely worth it's price. You get the metal drive shafts, metal gears, ball bearings, metal steering and so on... But it somehow depends on how you want to use your truck - I am going to take it Offroad, that's why I need some robust parts. 😁😀

Hi Luca! Vielen Dank! :D Ich würde prinzipiell sagen: Du kaufst für 30€ nur eine Karosserie. Am Chassis und der Elektronik muss viel getan werden. Für Anfänger ist er damit eher nicht geeignet. Investiere das Geld lieber in ein ab Werk gutes Fahrzeug :D

Hallo! Ja, das Problem ist mir bekannt. Man kann es ganz einfach beheben, in dem Man an der Fernbedienung den Schalter ST (Steering) von "NOR" auf "REV" stellt. Dadurch wird der Lenkkanal umgedreht. Ich hoffe, das hilft!

Pethello Hi! Yes you have to change everything except the Motor. You will need an Electronic Speed Controller, a Receiver (2.4ghz preferably), and a Servo. 😀

Just got mine. Steering is horrible, so I will mod that first. But the stock throttle is proportional. But I would like to keep the front lights.

Hi! Yes, you have to buy a new ESC and Receiver since there is no way to connect a normal servo to the stock electronics.

Hi! Mine had a non-proportional receiver but I'm not sure if the newer versions have a fully propportional radio. Nevertheless I think just changing the servo won't work either because the receiver doesn't have the standard JR Plug system. The original so called "servo" is just a motor so the receiver just reverses the polarity when steering form left to right. A real servo works with a technology that is called PWM that is totally different.

The transmitter has only on and off-switch on the steering wheel. But the throttle is proportional on the one I got today. Just get rid of everything and start over.

Hi! Thanks a lot! 😊 In this video I was using the stock motor but I've changed it for a 370 Motor with a planetary reduction gearbox. It's much stronger than the original motor! You should also change the drive shafts for metal ones. I give you a little hint: Search for "WPL Metal Gearbox" on AliExpress. 😀 Hope that helps!

Hi, I bought the Servo on eBay and the ESC was included in one of my RTR models. Nevertheless I don't recommend both parts: The Servo didn't last very long and the ESC is way to big for this type of car. I just used it because it was laying around here. A better way is going with a SAVÖX high-quality mini Servo and a Hobbywing Quickrun mini ESC.

Hello! For the radio you could use the fairly inexpensive "FlySky GT3B". I use it for almost every car and I'm very happy with it. For the electronic speed controller (ESC) you could go for a (small) Hobbywing Quickrun 1060 or a (slightly bigger) Tamiya TBLE-02s. Of course there're many other options and I'm sure that these will work just as fine as the two mentioned ones. For the battery I haven't got any specific suggestions - just a small 7.2V Nimh battery for the beginning. (a Lipo battery is much more powerful but can be dangerous when you don't know what you're doing; moreover the TBLE02S can't handle this type of battery). For the servo you could take a Savöx Mini Servo like the SH-0263MG. Be sure to measure if it fits in your truck! I would NOT recommend the blue servos, shown in the video. Only one week after I finished the build it stopped working.... Hope I could help you! Robert

Hi! Due to the fact that the WBL doesn't have the standard 12mm hex adapter you can only fit the original tires. But there are two types of tires on the market: a soft and a hard compound.

Lol wieder so ein Spaßbastler der nicht mal den Motor richtig entstört , macht man ja heute auch nicht mehr - 27 o. 40Mhz Band gibt es ja auch nicht mehr und bei der 2.4Ghz stört das ja nicht. Ganz nach dem Motto "Und nach mir die Sinnflut".

Hi! Bei Schiffsmodellen mache ich das, aber bei diesem lief es auch wunderbar ohne. Der Motor zuckt in keinster Weise oder läuft sonst irgendwie unruhig. Also warum sich den Spaß verderben durch unnötige Arbeit? ;-)
