it was a big night! This was the best band - the others were a bit more folky.

The camera work was affected by my dancing, I can not multi-task so well.....

I danced for 4 hours straight - could not walk properly the next day!! Which is today. But they were the best band I've seen for a long time.

I have seen photos of a marching band standing on a redwood stump. I hear those redwoods were 5000 years old.

@@MaitreMark Yes. I know things seemed limitless at that time because of the exuberant growth but it was sort of a crime against nature to cut them...I am sure it was similar in NZ.

@@cephalopodx7587 I read that the redwoods were mainly cut down for fire wood. It is amazing how much wood was used back before electricity.

@@cephalopodx7587 what is worse, redwood in resistant to insects and weathers very well - perfect timber for houses.

we have good trees in Tasmania, the cold weather means they grow slowly so they have dense wood.

@@MaitreMark Where there is water we have Post Oak and Black Jack. Out on the Llano Estacado Mesquite. Not very pretty unless you call it home.

But, I was talking to the mother of one of the trainers, she told me the courts order the kids to go to boxing, some government fund pays for their training in the first few months, and they stop offending, they learn to control their emotions in stressful situation, they gain pride and comradeship. They no longer feel alone in a harsh world - they have up right men and women welcoming them mentoring and helping them. It is a big win for everyone.

yes, I only made a profit over 10+ years of it sitting in my safe. I sold a load of silver too. The silver I bought for less than $20 Australian an ounce and sold for $35 when the spot price was $48. The way to make more money is to sell it piece by piece on ebay. But that takes time, so I dumped mine off to the local dealer that gave me the best price. I once horded gold and silver, buying some every pay day. But after a while I lost interest, I kept some nice old coins, but not much.

​​@@MaitreMark Driving in low visibility with NO HEADLIGHTS and fogged up windows is I'm sure illegal in most places, for a very good reason. It's dangerous, and somebody could get killed. I don't care what you think I look like or act like or when I was born, the fact that somebody won't see him and rear end him, or will start passing on the opposite side and not see him is not defensible. Also the fact that you're not using headlights in conditions like these says a lot about your awareness of the issue.

@@immortal1995100 One of the most useful driving tips I learned over the years is - Peter Wererit had a TV program in the 80s, he said that when you are driving along and someone has their headlights on full, do not flash your lights at them, they may have developed a problem where their lights are stuck on highbeam, if you flash them it is dangerous and they may have had hundreds of people flashing lights at them. So, when you see a car with a problem - do not become another problem. Just look to the side of the road so their lights are no longer a problem.

I was polite to those people driving 60 in a 100 zone because if I got mad and blew my horn or drove too close to them, I then become a problem - like you, you are nothing but a little tiny problem. Perhaps I will see you in a vid where you road rage and then regret it. Maybe you will be the fool who is knocked out on a funny viral vid for blowing your horn too much.

Neither did I, it was not so dark. Also, here in Tasmania we are well known for turning on our lights later than other places. We have a long twilight.

I should also add it was midday and not as dark as it looked on the vid.

I plan to open my berry maze to the public to wander in and pick fruit some time in the future. When it has grown tall enough to get lost in. And I also have a long term plan of a cricket oval and to have a local team to play casual games - this new structure will make part of the boundary line.

We had 15 humans and 5 dogs, quite a good ratio! Dogs are always welcome at my place ;)

and it fell down... we had 50 mills of rain, about 2 inches in American! So the back section fell down and I rebuilt it - better this time!
