Kids need a direction and sometimes a percussive attitude adjustment. I needed one when I was younger, and I got one. It wasn't what I wanted, but what I needed.

he wanted to look like he wanted to fight me, but he did not really want to fight me and he knew I was not interested in fighting him... but, if you are going to swear at a woman and try to steal her bag you should expect someone to teach you a hard lesson.

TransZesty Dad! Nice. I think you're very right about your summation of this kid crying for help. It reminds me a bit of many American blacks, who do indeed shoot each other but deep down actually love each other.
