Nothing was said about the 7.62 NATO conversions. I have a 1943 Springfield with a Beretta 7.62 barrel (O.O ME, 0.5 TE) With a Beretta thin front sight and metric elevation pinion.Wood was used and now is new.Italians headspaced their rifles extremely tight. Anybody know if they produced any gas cylinders?

Five years later, still a relative and informative video. My first handgun, in 1985, was a used nickel Colt Python. The timing was off and I returned it to my dealer who sent it in to Colt. Colt was on strike so I sat there gunless until I decided to take the new P226 from the dealer in trade. I have been gun shy on Pythons ever since until I got the new one. Now I am also getting some older ones more for collecting than shooting. Anyway, great video and that timing issue was quite real even in the 80s.

The current PTR has what I will call a partial freefloat barrel. On the triple tree OOO, the barrel is attached, the Charging tube is not. On some versions, the handguard does touch the barrel when it is being shot. Does the HK91 have the same setup? Does the wider handguard touch the barrel?

Getting rid of the m16 carry handle feels like a sin even tho stoner himself most likely made it possible

Uberti generally makes a beautiful rendition of the original Colt SAA, despite the lawyer gismo's. They didn't try to "improve" on the original design but rather to make as good a gun as the original for us SAA lovers to enjoy. That on its own was a great accomplishment and my hat's off to them! 👍

I bought a Taurus Spectrum today in a local pawn shop. It apparently has never been fired and if they had put it into the "NEW" case, you'd never question it as there are zero blemishes on it. I didn't get to shoot it today but I have been getting familiar with it. One thing that I saw is that looking at the back end of the ejector, there is about a 1/32 inch gap between the ejector and frame of the gun. If the chamber is empty, that gap is unmistakably dark or black. If there is a round in the chamber, you will see the unmistakable gold color of the brass cartridge all without moving the slide at all.

When it comes to deciding an EDC weapon for SD you cannot put a price tag on your life so let’s look at this from the most practical angle with reliability first. I own both of these firearms and will say that I feel the reliability will be only marginally better with the Sig based on fit and quality of materials. That’s not to say the Taurus isn’t utile or good enough to serve you and get the job done. The Taurus is a decent shooter and that’s why I still have it. 2) I would consider ergonomics and accessories 2nd. I’d say the ergonomics are better on the Taurus as I like the contours of the grip. There are more accessories for the Sig and acceptability for these accessories such as the tactical rail by design so if you want bells & whistles go with Sig. Overall I’d say I prefer the Sig but you can be well served by the Taurus only IF you can’t afford the Sig. Have a nice day gents.

Fired the m16a1 in Vietnam, not during the war but in 2004 at a range at the chu chi tunnels. The m16's seem to jam a bit but the ak's worked perfectly. Love the look of the m16.

To approve the semi auto design the upper receiver depth was shortened so you coukdnt convert it by simply replacing the bolt.Full auto bolt wont fit .When they made that modification that moved the lower up and thats why the Magazines need modified.You can modify the catch to use surplus magazines.

In my opinion, the a1 is the most famous and is a classic (I get a hard on just thinking about it) the a2 is the best looking, and the a4 is the best overall
