Great advice! I did this with my female German shepherd and over time, she’d see a dog and then automatically look at me. It is a great tool, along with other things, and got us a good bit more towards less reactivity.

Best time for zoomies is after you give them a bath. Its almost like they think it will speed the drying process.

Why would I want to stop my Jack from the zoomies. She burns a lot of energy quick, and calms down. I encourage the zoomies !

Ohhhh I just LOVE Jack Russells... I have never been able to keep one, I just take rescue dogs as they appear, so the choice is not up to me (😍 but they are ALL precious). I think now, if a Jack Russell needed me to adopt him or her, that I would be JUST TOO DAMN OLD!!! 🤣❤️🙏

As a mum to 3 (now just 2) this is the speed that all JRTs feel most comfortable going. They are high energy even when they sleep. Never have I witnessed so much paw moving while sleeping in any other breed. Notorious for sleeping on their backs, the position gives them plenty of space to run with whatever is in their heads while they dream.
