Recall Game - Beginning Step to Training Your Dog To Come When Called

Here's a little game you can play to:
1. Set a foundation for teaching your dog to come when called.
2. Keep your dog busy if you're stuck inside.
3. Provide some exercise if you have limited mobility.
Use treats or your dog's kibble (if they like it enough to use). It's easy to play. Have your dog in front of you, say "Find It" while you through the food away from you. After your dog finds it and they start to come back for more you can say "Come" (when they are pretty close to reaching you). When they arrive, mark it with a "Yes!" and do another "Find It" as a reward. Continue and have fun!
