A cool specific effect to a layout! Love the coal train too, where are the hoppers from?
@jonpowell-ov3yh11 сағат бұрын
👍 Your layout is coming together very nicely! I added one of these systems to my layout about a year ago. I put mine on a siding, where the slow train movement complimented the relatively slow sound profiles. It adds a nice bit of realism, without getting annoying from squealing too much! Lol

For the love of God pull that thing out. It sounds like fingernails across a chalkboard. Most. Irritating. Sound. Ever.

How do u get that squeal? So realistic. Keep em rolling.

Am always amazed at how much you've done in such a short period of time. Two years may not be a great time span but given that some people have layouts that barely progress from one month to the next - ok, I recognise 'other' stuff goes on/gets in the way etc. what you have is really good. All the best for the coming year Scott.

When it comes to your vehicles and people. Are you using n-scale ? Your layout seems to have a lot of detail parts that I have not been able to find when searching online.
@NSSCOTTTEAGUEАй бұрын
That's because some of those you can't find anymore. A lot of stuff you find on ebay and train shows.

Great method for making roads , looks great, thanks for sharing. Your layout looks awesome.
@conrailfan6277Ай бұрын
Very cool for a quick road, when I had my HO layout I used drywall putty and concrete patching for the roads and parking lots, your method speeds up the process!! As a trucker the only pet peeve for me is when modelers put in paved dock areas around a factory that a driver with a 53 foot trailer could never get into to turn a trailer around to dock, with N Scale we have more leeway to make a realistic spot for Big trucks!!! Great video Scott!!!
