Ricky has his Rams helmet on backwards - did anyone notice? To be honest Ozzie was the FIRST to do a "show about nothing". The lady on the phone was the future Clara, Joe's husband and Harriet's friend.

@@SallyKohorst The same episode is on another channel somewhere on YT, and that's the whole episode. It's also called "The Storm". YT won't let anyone post links any more unfortunately. Great show, I fully agree!

ABC's answer to CBS' "Twilight Zone". John Newland was just about as good as Rod Serling, and this was one of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's quiet first ventures into television production through longtime MGM associate and producer Joseph Schenck. ABC was still far behind in affiliates and budgets at this time, and this didn't get the appreciation Serling's show got.

Thank you so much for putting these up. Growing up one of the oldies tv channels played some of the reruns, but only 1-2 seasons,so most are new to me & that's awesome !! I've always loved these kind of shows, esp the ones, like this one, "World's Beyond" & I think-"The Red Door"( may be others, esp British ones, that never aired in the U.S) based off of the "true life" accounts of real ppl & investigated by the irl, Cambridge based, "Society for Psychical Research", a group whose members over the yrs included such notables such as Sir Oliver Lodge ,poet Frederic Myers (who created the word, "telepathy"), Arthur Conan Doyle, the famous shrink, Edmund Gurney, physicist William Barrett, amongst others. They had 6-8 categories of study ( apparitions, haunted houses, seances, mesmerism, etc) They're known for not only debunking many of the famous Haunted Houses & professional Psychics, mesmerists & Mediums of the day [Harry Houdini helped them with a lot of those cases] but also supposedly found many that could not be explained scientifically & appeared to be truly paranormal in nature. They approached ea case with open minds & created most of the scientific methodologies still used today. While the group mostly went inactive after WW2 & through the 60's-early 70's, when the paranormal went out of fashion, it had a resurgence in the late 70's & 80's & is still active today, though IMO is less scientific & much more dubious, theatrical & click-baity than what it started out being, lol. [Think of most of the ghost hunting tv shows/KZbin channels since the 90's to the present & you'll understand what I mean😂😝]

I know Wally ( Skip Young) was brought in for comic relief but he is not funny at all ….he butts into everything with no money and an appetite……I’m not sure why Ginger (gf) is slightly interested…….

The first scene with the prison lights and the boats seems to have been filmed with toys in a fat person's bathtub and the worst part is all the horrible sounds made with music and a lot of gunshots and machine guns.
