These Queens are nice, but the Original Broadway cast hooked me. I saw it twice with Anna Uzele and her 2022 understudy as Parr. I am converted from 'Ann (Bolyn) of a Thousand Days' to Anna of Cleves 'The King's beloved sister'. Cleves was THE REAL SURVIVOR! Cha-CHING! Get Down!

It was so fun! Great visual effects. Lots of nostalgic nods to the movie. Going again next week and taking my teen son.

This cast was also really incredible! I was wondering how good it would be compared to the original, but soon everyone in the audience was crying their eyes out! It’s still a life changing experience and I highly recommend going to see it!

I find it arrogant on the part of the woman who updated the book to say that the previous versions harmed children in some way. How, exactly? Also, I've seen the Rigby and Duncan versions on stage, plus Mary Martin on TV. None of them lasted three hours. Yes, there were two intermissions in the stage versions, if I recall correctly, but the acts were short. These comments are coming from an old white guy so take it for what it's worth. But not everything has to be changed to make it politically correct.

Nolan was perfectly impressive and energetic as Peter Pan. Excellent acrobatics makes flying flawless. 🎉❤

This is NOT the classic "Peter Pan" from years ago!! Be prepared for MAJOR changes! THIS "Peter Pan" is now "catering to a new generation" (Spoilers Ahead!) Here are some examples: It's NOT set in London, Wendy is a self-assured feminist who wants to be a doctor and posts TIkTok videos, Hook is Scottish (???), wears NO hat, and is about as menacing as his practically all-female pirate crew, Smee is gay, and Tiger Lily and her 'Indigenous People tribe' lack any respect to their culture which, BTW, the Pantages REALLY wants you to know how much they care about them. On the PLUS side: the sets and digital projections are excellent, the fight & dancing choreo is fantastic, and the costumes are very good. This is NOT a bad play/musical to take your child for their first theatrical experience as it's got bright colors, goofy characters, and great songs for them. For us old-school theater purists who have seen (or been in) the original Peter Pan, it was a huge disappointment.

I'm sorry, but not with those orchestrations. Plus the famous opening number is the whole cast confined to that little box in the center of the stage. There's something to updating "Company," but this isn't it.
