Absolutely loving your video tutorials on sonar. So many times I just get on water look at sonar shortly and fish never spending enough quality time looking at areas

Really like when you cover sonar tips and insights. I know you can’t catch fish wo lines in the water but I need to spend more time scouting and reading sonar before I fish. I usually don’t spend much time looking bc I struggle with it

Great video ! How come you didn't use Down Scan? Just wondering! I only have Down Scan & 2 D sonar on my 9" Elite FS. Haven't got the side image yet. Matter of fact I don't have a trolling motor yet either. What kind of trolling motor you using now a days??

Haven't had a chance yet to play with mine but I am already jealous of how you know just what "button" to hit to control it. I will probably run into a barge from having the screen in one hand and the operating manual in the other. lol

Bummer, I don't think they sell that bag anymore that you have in front of of the seat.

Great video man. Where did you get the box you mounted in the back of your boat? I'm wanting to mount one just like that in my boat, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks

Santee and Karolina Rigs are my favorite. I have heard that if you use a Karolina rig, the fish doesn't feel the sinker because you have either a no roll, egg or even a bank sinker on but, if you have your line tight or reel locked down, they will feel that sinker no matter what.
@sjf325221 күн бұрын
U should try the cheap sinker slides when sinker snags u can break them off them thick ones breaks ur hole rig off hooks get exspensive tournament fishing

Supper informative and great presentation Chris. I like ur "Kentucky" rig, the way u tie it is much better then the way I have been for years. Thanks for sharing and tight lines. 👍

Could you just use a snap swivel on the rod to make it easier to switch between rigs or is there a reason not to

I use and tie all 3 of those rigs, I use the Carolina and Santee cooper and wife likes the Kentucky rig , you did teach me how to tie them differently, such as the snell and doing the dropper loop to the hook, thank you for your time and patience to teach rigs, spots, and how to catch catfish

Great video, we always used the Kentucky rig but we just called it the double, we would buy the Eagle claw brand already made, but i started making my own a few years back. I kinda like the crimp idea, does it cut into the line? and are they special ones?

Chris, You missed all the excitement! Local utility construction got caught parking their big excavator on my RR crossing without asking or giving any notice,. No one was amused and that part of the project was shut down until a flagman can be arranged. The dbbl hook KY has become my go-to. Great vid!
