Only proves that schools are joke. Not allowing anime in personal sketcbooks and yet most animation industry is anime. Even US studios do anime.

I absolutely adore how precise and literally perfect your art is! I am a young artist and my channel is also a small channel based from animations, etc. I want to apply for CSSSA to go to next summer, and I was wondering if you know when the requirements for 2024 are available/when the requirements are usually released>>>

CSSSA is a summer program held at the CalArts campus. CalArts is a institute and CSSSA is a summer program for high school students. Hope that cleared things up!

The sketchbook itself was an assignment, I wasn't upset that they discouraged fan art. The restrictions they set actually helped me come up with unique ideas and clarify my artistic voice!

wait you werent allowed to draw existing anime characters or anything in the anime style. ether way thta is kind fo weird in an animation program since the naime style is a big part of it

Yes, no fan art of any kind was allowed in our sketchbooks! But it really helped me develop and refine my own art style and creative voice! <33
