Hello Rachel, I have set up your circuit, but I have problems with the MP3 player circuit. it does not seem to be recognizable. Are you aware of any issue with that chip? I have seen many people complain about that circuit, especially on Arduino R3 and R4, maybe there are some compatibility issues I should look at.... Thanks a tons for your wonderful proposal.

This is great learning. But would be better flowing with a board of me own and I wonder if AI can code it for us

Love the video. I have a question that may be off topic. How would I go about programming different features or options on a small LCD touchscreen display and what software and tools do I need to program it to my needs. Greatly Appreciated

Rachel I have an interesting question, perhaps would love to see a video demonstration if you don't already have one (I didn't see one). I'm learning a lot about my arduino from your videos, THANKS! My question is: I plan to use my arduino to control leds on a costume and for ease of access I want the wires in the costume to have disconnects and stuff. So for a "finalization" of a project do I permanently solder wires to my board ( I have the r3 mega 2560 version with the preattached ports for all the pins) or am I supposed to solder to my jumper wires from a kit I bought and unplug from my board directly? I hope that question made sense. Thanks again for your videos!

You are a great teacher! Can you show us how to isolate the ground from the case on the exact motor you show here so when you use 2 of these motors you can reverse the + and - on 1 of them without burning something up?

Can an 8266 board be used in place of the Uno? You talked about the tx/rx of the nano and having to reassign that to get comms to the dfplayer.

THANK YOU I love how easy you explain things. Please do more of this for this kind of projects. I am now working on a 3D printed device that can shuffle cards and serve different players. It should have two DC motors (one for shuffling and the other for serviing and a servo motor to rotate 360 degrees. I haven't found something similar, so I'm going to try it, but I have to start very simple and these videos help me to advance in this project, since I'm completely new with electronics.

I hate it when intelligence has to be dumbed down with over the top, over-emphatic, hyped up 5000 cans of Redbull-fueled voicing. It's so distracting and unnatural that I have to watch you with the sound off and subtitles on. Great job and fantastic information. Thanks.

Can you do a video on how to make things happen in a range? For example I want my sensor to do something between 20-30cm and something else 30-40cm etc Thanks

Rachel you could use a relay in place of your DPDT switch. Then connect the relay coil contacts to power with a SPST switch.

Rachel I just found your channel and love it! Someone told me I need to use an Arduino board for a project I'm trying to build but I don't know how to program one to do what I need it to do. I have a 12 volt DC motor I need to make turn on for three seconds and stop for five seconds then turn on in the opposite direction for three seconds and stop. This is for a slingshot auto resetting target I want to build. I would like to know what Arduino board to buy.

Placing the ruler 2 cm from the TX/RX creates a discrepancy between the physically measured and ultrasonic measured distances. The duration between the trigger and echo includes sound traversing that 2 cm gap. Great explanation and example for the modules use. You've given me a couple ideas to consider.

I've broken enough electronics components to know that without your clear descriptions for how the different parts of the setup works, I would have been in the dark on this (pun intended). Building up the code from lighting 3 lights to creating rainbow animations was awesome. I couldn't have enjoyed following along more. Thank you!

Arduino coding is interesting since it combines c++ and JavaScript when it comes to variables. Why would the pins be a constant (const), and the variables not have a declaration like the constants (i.e `var`)?
