Why are you so awesome, Michael? You sure have good taste in your musical companions, also. Thank you for recording all you can. Please continue I appreciate your Lonesome Fridays postings, and am crossing my fingers for some Elmore James, and Mississippi John Hurt covers, soon! 😮😊

Noam has mastered the banjo but I absolutely HATE that half-tuned / off tune style.

I wondered why this sounded so amazing- it’s not the impeccable harmony, not the fantastic arrangement, not the dynamite picking- it was the bugs.

More of your voice singing the old bluegrass tunes, Michael, please..... could you do a historical retrospective, and create a library of bluegrass classics, voiced by you, as they should be?

So glad this was recorded and preserved. More performances are wanted from Michael Daves, recordings, albums, colaborrations, etc.

Michael Dave's energy is ferocious and terrific! Each word and intonation bring back a hundred + years of American history to vivid life.

Michael Daves aggressive attack on the guitar and voice are the greatest. He's got that freshness and young buck energy.

This is a phenomenal version of the tune, but can we talk about the name for a second?... Why? Why new camptown races? Why not just come up with a new song title? It sounds nothing like camptown races haha there's the Bob Wills school of naming conventions where you just stick new in the front of something and you add lyrics
