Also, Rasulullah (saw) married not only young women, but older women as well. His 1st wife, Khadijah (ra), mother of the believers, was 15 years his senior and Saudah (ra), his 2nd wife, was approximately 5 years older than him (saw). There are a lot of beautiful, mature Muslim women who are being left to waste away their golden years because all the brothers only want young women. This is not the example left to us by Muhammad (saw). I will turn 69 soon bi'ithnillah and have not been married once since i took shahadah nearly 30 years ago. This is not how i saw my life when i joined the fold of Islam, but Allah (swt) is the best of planners. Allahu Akbar!
