Servo circuit is to decode the receiver signals and give input to motor driver. Motor driver will run the motor.

From start it's same for me as well. You are not supposed to start keeping those modes. Take off with stabilize.

I tried using ESP32-WROOM-DA Module, L298N motor driver and flysky I couldn't get the dc motors working. I'm getting signal from my flysky when moved the right stick up/down (1011-2000) median is 1550. The left stick signal moving left/right signal from serial monitor is ( 1000 - 2000) median is 1500.

Excellent tutorial! .. I think I’ll use it as inspiration to build my FFB wheel .. I wonder if it’s possible to just replace the control board .. switching from an Arduino Leonardo to an STM32 .. It’s not that expensive .. I’d like to know what changes need to be made with this switch, but I can’t find much useful information online

That is not an issue. If any of the buttons are getting detected it is sufficient. You can assign in the game.

You cannot use that SMD version of Arduino. It should have 16u2 chip for serial communication. Ch340 doesn't work.
