Biggest tip - get to Platinum as fast as possible. Accept almost every order until you do. Smaller is better. The only orders you want to decline are those which take you well out of your zone, unless it's to a better zone that's busy. Once you're Platinum status, make sure you stay there. You won't see that many orders at $2/mile. $1+/mile is my benchmark, but that varies according to how busy it is. You won't get rich doing this, but it helps to get by in a pinch.

I thought this waz going to be some BS but, I just listened to the video and after I called DD support and asked about the recent 1 star I'm my rating. I wanted to know more about it. He said he didn't have any details however if I wanted to dispute it, he would remove it. After 24 hrs it was removed. I am a platinum dasher so maybe that's why. But this hack worked

I've noticed DoorDash Penalizes you for declining too many orders. They'll force you to "Schedule" your dashing hours in advance and do not let u dash when u need/want to.

I just started and let me tell all beginners! I wish I had known this! New dashers can't use fast pay until you've completed 25 orders and been dashing for 2 weeks! I was so mad. But like dashing. I can make pretty good money

Immediate bitch slap punishment A $6 order 24 minutes away I was like "oh we have created a hate algorithm now"... how corporate of you... I thought why not create an algorithm for those who are 20 to 30 y.o.s with hustling bods no problem doing 8 -10 hour shifts making it their full-time gig, and energy to spare... those of us who can't take our asses in that position more than three hours at a stretch NEVER need go into a McDonalds... not to eat... not to deliver a seven dollar 5000 calorie heart attack. Another tome it said return to zone when I got there, refreshed and it said, "You didn't accept order." It had paused app while renavigating me... AND said, "I CALLED you. What were you doin'?" Dinged for that. Gps told to go down a street named something else... bldgs with numbers out of order AND covered by walls of ivy so my "on time" looks like I'm going to score between dashes sometimes. 😂😂😂 Yesterday, I got a "Good work," and I was like, "Finally. Out of detention." Can't wait to tell Mom.😂

This is my 2nd month of DD, and in that short amount of time, there have been so many changes. DD continues to make it harder,for us to make a decent amount of money. But lately the app glitches have become a regular thing. I was doing a stack order. When I arrived at the first customers house, his order was gone from the app, so i couldn't confirm delivery. Had to get help by calling dasher support. Then the 2nd customers order was also gone. Thankfully, she called me, and i got her address. Had to spend at least 30 minutes, sitting still waiting to get help, to make sure i got paid for those 2 deliveries, on a busy Saturday night, before I could take anymore orders. I got hit with a contract violation, because the gps sent me to a different area, than where the restaurant was, and had me driving in circles, to find a place that wasn't there. That happens a lot lately. I got a hit with a violation, because i arrived late for a pick-up @ Burger King. I switched to a differrent gps app and finally found it, nowhere near where i was. DD's app consistantly has issues, like saying "you won't get any orders, while you're paused. I didn't hit pause. I look in the app, but i'm not paused, but i continue to not get orders. The only way out of that is too end dash. Then your scheduled time is taken away and dash now isn't an option, with the new updates. I called support, let him have it, and he said" i don't see a schedule for you" , and he hung up. Then i got an email saying " we are having engineering issues". What the heck? I tried Uber Eats , but they are worse here. They want you to drive 21+ miles, to pick- up an order, for $6. I deleted their app. I haven't dashed in a week. I'm going to try it tonight , and see if they fixed their app. I refuse to work with a useless app, it is a waste of my time and gas. I let support have it, on the phone. I also do reviews in the Google Store. New dashers need to know what they're getting into, so they can make an informed decision. I'm tired of having to apologize to my customers, because the Dasher app doesn't work.
