I’m a goalie and I was out for almost 2 months with a groin injury. Even after you think you’ve recovered, one wrong little tweak even when you’re just walking and you’re back down again. It took me 6 months to be completely recovered with no pain from extending too far or twisting a certain way.

So tired of scrums after a big hit. Lets go back to big hits mean more big hits which means a fight down the road when it matters. Btw, all you trouba haters have no idea what your talking about. Those are clean hits 90% of the time. And the dirty hits are only dirty because the league got soft

Did you know you can get a concussion from getting hit in the stomach? Did you know hockey equipment advancements only made it possible to throw hits like this without hurting yourself within the past couple decades? Did you know that smaller players used to not get ran like this by much larger players because they'd have to face the other team's enforcer at some point in time? But sure, let's leave the faster skill players completely defenseless to this stuff and get rid of fighting.. which is in all likelihood responsible for about 5% of concussions in hockey. I have no idea how someone could argue getting blindside ragdolled at 35mph is less dangerous than throwing a couple punches at another ready and willing combatant... and you wonder why players react the way they do to these big hits. Joke of a league and completely unwatchable.

I mean a couple of these questions, they’re not even trying to hide the bait. Like the one to Kessel… What’s the response going to be, “Oh yeah I’m difficult to coach” no player with half a brain would come close to saying yes. Just a stupid question

The call at 1:45 was the correct call and is completely correct. Furthermore the 2min minor for goaltender interference is textbook. Even if it’s accidental it’s still a penalty he had time and space to get out of the way but instead he goes balls the wall through the crease with a power move

If i recall correctly, the Claude Lemieux hit on Draper in that playoff series between Colorado and Detroit led to 'Fight Night at the Joe' the following season (with Lemieux clearly getting the worst of a clash with Darren McCarty that led to Patrick Roy clashing with Mike Vernon when Brendan Shanahan intercepted Roy's attempt to come to Lemieux's aid).
