Clever to pull mass from the counter-balance side. The windage discovery must been pretty cool.

That brings me to this question. Have you ever pulled the counter balancers from a twin cam B softail rigid mount engine?

Yes, but we always will ask how you ride your bike. If it's a touring application I would recommend leaving the balancers in.

@ I definitely don’t track the bike. But enjoy riding twisty mountain roads in my state of Colorado. I do like a quick rev’ing engine and don’t mind a little engine braking. It’s what makes riding twins fun! But I definitely don’t want it to be uncomfortable. Being it’s a rigid mount, perhaps best to leave the counter balancers and just make the flywheels a little lighter? My only thoughts about pulling the counter balancers on the twin cam “B” engine is to eliminate the chain drive and tensioners as a wear item.

@@77DucMon I would agree with you on leaving them in and lighting the crank would be the best for you.

Lots of background noise in the video. What are the connecting rods for, applications? Maybe you can save time by putting that into the title of the video.

It to bad you guys won’t sell your bearings and crank pins separate from your crank service.

You should check the cushions every 10,000 to 15,000 miles

How about making a more in depth video , seems like this one is incomplete to me.

Andrew... I don't know if you see or read these comments but, in case you do. I got my order today from you to replace the cushions. I have already broke one allen head socket and kinda messed up the tapered bolt hole somewhat. Just how tight are these tapered nuts???? Also, my Head Hoggers motor is doing 118 / 123 and I'm wondering how you suggest I place the cushions once I'm able to get the nuts off? I will be calling you tomorrow, I am hoping you are coming to Bike Week and if you are, I am going to get you to bring me a set or two of the tapered nuts. Thanks. Tom PS... Because I just didn't want to believe the HD auto chain adjuster would really work, after buying an M6 tensioner (junk!!!), and they buying the Baker adjuster (great product), I bought the HD SE adjuster and I'm going to run that... now that I've figured out how to adjust it to the 1/2 inch chain play. I should have listened to you and I would have saved a ton of money buying stuff I really need need.

YT videos are a great way to keep customers like me off your phone, but I believe viewers are going to have some questions unanswered. Reading the instructions, step 5 could have been shown in more detail. 5. "For OE applications with HP outputs below 105 RWHP we recommend installing green cushions at to the drive side of each drive hub post (IE: 12 o’clock drivehub would have green to the left [11o’clock] and black on the right) and the black cushions on the rebound side and each post will follow suit" *Ordering cushions for 2012 Glide installed ManOWar approx 30k miles ago. *Purchased the sprocket on recommendation from Kevin Baxter at Skunk Works. *Sprocket should come with a DarkHorse tee shirt. 😁
