not sufficiently bothered by it to go thru the hassle of dealing with Bremont's after sales service. Its a momento of pre-davide era. In comparison tudor and longines hands are still spotless.

The dial is truly dazzling. I know a lot of people aren't fond of movie tie-in stuff .. but this watch is just ludicrously sexy. Especially as it catches the light. I'm going to very much enjoy reviewing and showing off this piece. Thanks for enjoying :D

Well .. you get to see a lot of the watch up front and this review is as much about the lifestyle brand of Kingsman as it is about the watch. I don’t make these videos for clicks, clout or money .. I make them for the fun and art of it. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it.

I’m afraid the Kingsman edition is very hard to find, though not impossible. But if you’re interested in the exact same watch, minus the Kingsman branding, you can find this Alt1-WT and Alt1-B for a decent price at Chrono24. Lots of Bremont dealers still have the Alt1 watches but they have been discontinued so .. grab one now if you can. They won’t be around for long. And as for the Kingsman edition … well, you’ll just need to ask around or keep an eye on eBay.

It's suprising isn't it? Just hits you when you wear it how different those colours are to what you expect. And I find them so much more interesting and vibrant than the Rolex counterpart. Sure the Rolex may be worth more in the long run .. hard to argue with that, but I get the feeling the Tudor is one you can really enjoy in a lot of different environnments. Glad you like it and I hope it gives you many years of joy.

It certainly is an amazing movie and the watch is a superb piece. I'm sure lots of watch enthusiasts and collectors will tell you there are 'better' watches than this one .. but put simply, it is a very cool watch that has a lot of functionality the you'll find useful on a daily basis .. looks great and has the advantage of Not being yet another Rolex or Omega. Finding this watch (any of them) can be challenging as there are so few and it's probably one of Bremont's most sought after pieces. Personally I'm always on the lookout for the Gold one but I know that one will cost me EVERYTHING to be able to buy it assuming it pops up at all. The Black one .. my fave one .. is probably going to be the easier one to find preowned and you do see it pop up from time to time on various jewellers sites. So I wish you the best of luck at finding one. Though bear in mind that the regular Alt1-WT from Bremont is also an awesome watch in its own right. So if you can't find the Kingsman watch .. there are several watches that look almost the same and do the same stuff. As you have seen in the video .. I still wear my Alt1-B as a daily, and some of those can be picked up for much less than their original price. Thanks for enjoying the video and commenting :D

Interesting .. a quartz movement that jumps by 2 seconds? .. usually that's the way a quartz movement indicatas it's running out of power, never seen one that did that purposely. But, glad to hear you're enjoying your watches, and thanks for enjoying may video :D

A bit of a snag on that one. Due to finances I had to sell mine .. and it was a shame because it truly was a lovely watch. Had I the money to have kept it I would have. I will most likely buy one again in the future. I did take lots of pics of it and a little bit of video so a review isn’t out of the question. But I agree it is underrated and rare to see them out in the wild. Currently I’m working on my Kingsman review .. but I’ll give some thought to talking about the S502 soon.

In fairness .. it did seem like a pretty well built watch. As I understand it the quality of the newer pieces is not as good (if reviews are anything to go by). And I certainly don't think it's worth more than $300 CAD, but it did the job and looked pretty good.

Congratz on the Sub. Yeah sometimes it is just possible to find that one watch which really satisfies. And that's ok. Enjoy it and have amny adventures with it. For sure there may yet be another watch in the future which will turn you head .. but for now, you can simply enjoy. Oddly enough I wear my Bremont a LOT more than my Rolex. The Rolex was the cherry on the cake. It signified the pinnacle of the collection. But the Bremont is the one that gives me the most amount of joy. But, it is good to have both. I'm currently working on the next video .. a review of the Bremont Kingsman. Still doing studio photography for it, but it's shaping up nicely. Thanks for enjoying my videos.

It's very true .. Tudor definitely draws less attention to the potential watch thieves (though you still have to be careful). Fortunately around here (Vancouver) such crime is not so prevalent .. in comparison to London or New York for instance. The S&G GMT certainly isn't cheap ($7500 CAD is still a big whack of change) .. but it's far more affordable than its Rolex counterpart, and if you go to a Tudor AD the chances are they'll actually have one for you to try and .. and to buy right there. The same cannot be said of Rolex.

Yeah I mostly agree. I think it's an issue where trying to produce a high quality watch requires this kind of price tag (for the Nomadic) .. but watches made in China are able to produce the same for much less .. thus killing competition outside of China. It's perhaps one reason to consider supporting non Chinese made brands .. but you have to also consider that you're essentially paying a premium to 'stick it to the CCP' .. as it were. The fact is there's only really one good reason to buy the Nomadic over the San Martin .. and that is the the warranty on the Nomadic is going to be worth a LOT more than that of the San Martin. If you've ever tried to send someting back to China to get it replaced or repaired .. you'll understand why. And to be clear .. the San Martin and Nomadic watches are not proecisely the same case .. they are different. It's only minor things .. but I do prefer the look of the Nomadic case. At the end of the day one has to choose a watch based on what you want on your wrist, how easy it will be to fix if something goes wrong .. and which corner you wish to support. Nomadic is a very new company and this is their first effort .. I think it's worth keeping an eye on them to see what they will do next.

@@minhtran505 'Tis true .. but as I stated above .. the price tag is more about the after-sales part. Having had personal experience of the utter nightmare that is trying to send a watch back to China to get it fixed I can say that I will take the warranty of an Irish brand any day over that of a Chinese company as there's a much better chance of the latter honouring the warranty. Though .. to be fair .. I've not had direct experience of San Martin itself .. so perhaps I do them a disservice. But in general it is NOT easy to send things back to China. And it is that way by design.

There's something to be said for this retro design .. one that Rolex just can't go back to anymore. And Tudor is perhaps the one company that can legitimately do it. It's a lovely piece this one.

I have the opposite problem .. any smaller than this looks ridiculous on me. But I do like the Air-King size.

Hey there .. my wrist is 7.5 inches. This watch is 43 mm and 16 mm thick .. so it's a big boy, but short lug to lug .. so I would say your wrist can pull off the size .. it's a question of personal preference of course.

Exactly .. A lot of the cheapest Seiko 5 watches these days clock in at $600 CAD .. and I really can't say they deserve that price point as they feel very cheaply made. Regular Seiko watches seem to cost around $1250 CAD and it's a bit of a head scratcher as they're not bad .. but when you consider some micro brands provide better spec movements, sapphire crystal and more for the same price or less? With the Chinese made homages it can be a bit of a roulette wheel in terms of what you get. But companies like Cronos, Phylida, and San Martin are consistently hitting the market with objectively good watches at a $500 CAD price point or lower. And then you have Pagani Design (to which I have mixed feelings about) giving you a decent working watch at $150 CAD or lower. The only problem with these watches really is that the warranty is mostly worthless. Though, my 'No dime to buy' watch is still working and continues to be in my budget collection watch box. As for Part II .. of my 'State of the Collection' .. I have yet to make it. The problem is that I had a lot of turn over of my higher end pieces .. and so was waiting for things to settle. Yes, that is admittedly a weak spot. I've seen a lotof people who apply a small piece of sellotape (or Scotch tape for our US friends) along that inner link area to protect it. Simple and effective.

They're probably referring to the GMT hand can slip out of time. It's an artifact of the ETA 2893 movement (to which Bremont's calibre is based). It's actually an easy fix but does require you to send the watch in. If it's in warranty then you've got nothing to worry about, and Bremont does offer a 3 year warranty. Personally .. such potential issues don't really bother me as it's a small number of watches might be affected. It doesn't sour my experience of the watch (for instance with the Tudor S&G GMT .. that GMT movement is also known to have some bugs). The Blue / Green S300 is stunning and if you're interested I'd say go for it. I love Bremont as a brand as they're something new and different. My Kingsman Alt1's are my fave Bremonts and I'll be talking about those very soon, along with a VERY special version of the Alt1 that I have coming in. Just remember .. Bremont will fix the problem if something goes wrong. I've had afew dealings with Bremont customer service and they've always been right on the ball to get things sorted.
